The official Mega Man X6 PC port published by Capcom Korea subsidiary KOKO Capcom in 2002 has been saved from a disc rot fate.
Mega Man fan leamaycry located and dumped this obscure, lesser-known direct PC port to Archive.org. You can download it here. The file contains everything you need to run it on a modern day machine, including patch 1.0.0 already applied.
You can find more details on the game - its history, differences, and troubleshooting - below!

The Rockman X DiVE development team just announced via Facebook that a new skin will arrive next week on Wednesday, October 21st after the maintenance period.
As you may recall, Iron Maiden was Cinnamon's Hyper Mode in Rockman X Command Mission. Unfortunately they didn't announce if she will be freely distributed or purchasable like "Yukata Pallette" which was available for 800 EM for a limited time. It now goes for 1200 EM.
Let us know in the comments if you'll be picking this one, especially if it's something you have to purchase as opposed to getting it free by playing an event.

Arcade 1Up's upcoming Mega Man Collection plug & play console is finally nearing release. Maybe.
First unveiled at the beginning of the year, A listing for the mini console recently appeared on GameStop. However, there's no release date or an option to pre-order. It's likely we caught this page very early and those details are forthcoming.

We'll keep an ear out for more details. In the meantime, head to GameStop's page for more images.

Shown above is Astro Boy drawn by Mega Man series artist Keisuke Mizuno, striking a valiant pose next to classic series Mega Man by Tezuka Productions contributor Urumu Tsunogai. Pretty neat, wouldn't you say? We've gone full circle here!
As previously reported, the exhibit will feature artwork of Capcom characters illustrated by Tezuka Productions staff and Tezuka characters by Capcom staff. Special commemorative merchandise will be available to purchase as well. This unique, collaborative exhibit opens its doors on October 23rd, 2020. It will end on February 23rd, 2021.

Saturday, September 26, 2020
Announced via social media today, the Rockman DASH series is coming to Rockman X DiVE! Content from the DASH series could arrive as soon as next Tuesday, based on how the development team made similar announcements in the past.
While there's no additional details about the event beyond the announcement itself, you can expect to see an A rank character obtainable by playing the event stage. In this particular case, that character would be none other than Rock Volnutt. There will be a secondary, S rank character obtainable exclusively through the event banner, too, and an S rank weapon as well.
Who is going to be the second playable character? Perhaps Roll Caskett or Tron Bonne? Let's us know who you're wishing for in the comments!

As their namesake implies, PCS manufacturers high-end statues based on popular movie, comic, cartoon and video game properties. For an example of their work, see their take on MMPR Red Ranger, Optimus Prime, Spider-Man, Zangeif and Michael Myers. Good stuff.
So long story short, we can expect to see some nifty Mega Man things from these fine folks in the near future. No further details are available.

Courtesy of our friend VixyNyan, you can download the complete soundtrack from good 'ol Rockman Perfect Memories here. Each piece is individually ID tagged, too. And fun fact: the soundtrack was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto. He's best known for his work on Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, Gunstar Heroes and Vagrant Story!
If you're just catching up, a cancelled and unreleased Game Boy port of RockBoard surfaced early this month during the latest round of "Nintendo Gigaleaks." The game is a near 1:1 port of its Famicom sibling -- multiplayer included. The port was developed between 1993-1994 by defunct Japanese developer Dual.
Based on initial findings, Game Boy RockBoard made it very far in development. In fact, it was cancelled sometime after getting into Lot Check. In other words, a commercial release was within reach. We do not know why it was cancelled, though. Chalk this one up to the many Mega Man mysteries.
Many thanks to VixyNyan and nensondubois_!

And today, we have preview pages for issue #2, which is due next week AND a first-look at another variant cover for issue #5. See it all below!
Friday, September 18, 2020
Via Previews World, we have a look at the main cover for Mega Man Fully Charged issue #5 drawn by Toni Infante and "cover C" drawn by Alex Garner . Both are due on December 16 for $4.99 each.
Here's this issue's solicitation:
* Mega Man is betrayed and defeated by the last person he expected.
* Now, there's just one more chance to save Silicon City and the people he loves most - can Mega Man go FULLY CHARGED one more time?

Mega Man and Astro Boy are finally teaming up! But not in the way you'd expect.
The hallowed Osamu Tezuka Memorial Hall announced a brand-new "Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters" art exhibit that will feature artwork of Capcom characters illustrated by Tezuka productions staff. Conversely, the exhibit will also feature illustrations of Tezuka characters drawn by Capcom artists.
For an idea of what to expect, the key art above was drawn by Bengus. It features Capcom and Tezuka all-stars in an iconic stare-down. So neat!
The exhibit begins on October 23rd through February 23rd, 2021.
Sunday, September 13, 2020
The Rockman X DiVE development team took to social media to tease the next playable character. While the image doesn't show much, the Zero helmet printed on the classic "Matsuri" (i.e festival in English) attire called "Happi" or "Hanten" pretty much gives it away.
This very "Festive" Zero will be the next S rank playable character and will arrive in time to celebrate the "Firework and Lantern Festival". Very few things are more iconic than a fan with the kanji "祭" printed on it when it comes to attending a Matsuri. Will Zero trade in his Z-Saber for one?
We'll find out soon!

The game is a near 1:1 port of the Famicom party game and appears to be largely complete. The port was long-rumored to be in development many MANY years ago when it appeared on the credits page of developer Dual's webpage.
I cannot directly link you to the leaked file at this time. Sorry! Look around a bit and you'll find it. Nevertheless, this is history!
We will have a more thorough analysis of the game soon. Stay tuned!

Make Rockman includes a physical Rock Buster Module that can be used to both program Rockman's movements and adjust other in-game variables.
Make Rockman will go on sale exclusively on Makuake, a Japanese-based crowdfunding platform, this coming Monday, September 7th at 11:00 JST.
There are no currently announced plans for a global version.

You can read our review of the first issue here if you haven't already.
