MvC2 Re-release Is Capcom's Worst Kept Secret *UPDATE*

There's no doubt in my mind now; Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is coming to a Xbox 360/PS3 near you.
CD WOW! is taking preorders for not one but seven MvC themed fight pads for both the 360 and PS3, slated to simultaneously release on July 17th, 2009. (A possible indication of the game's own release date?) The detailed product descriptions are as follows:

Xbox 360 Fight Pad:
  • Officially Licensed Marvel VS Capcom 2 artwork
  • Enlarged circular 8-way floating D-Pad
  • 6-button layout with additional multi-speed Turbo functionality
  • Rubber grips for improved handling

  • Integrated headset port for use with Xbox LIVE® X360 Only

  1. No Wii ?? Disappointment but I dont likt it anyway because I hate the way characters jump too high and float around briefly to fight before back down on the ground to fight. Thats not cool at all and annoying.

  4. It is going to be the except same thing as the fightpad 4 sf4. I really want the megaman vs iron man one. LOL anyone that comments here will want that one outta lot. Might get it as a second if I see preorders on amazon.

  5. I don't know whether I'd want the Iron Man v Mega Man stick or Spider-Man v Strider stick. I'll probably end up going with the Blue Bomber, but Strider merch is so incredibly rare...

    And our good friend Google will tell you:
    "It seems that tu4ar stands for “Take U 4 A Ride,” a part of the lyrics from the MvC2 Character Select screen theme. This, plus a few directory links basically means that the countdown is for MvC2 on XBLA and PSN and will most likely announced at Captivate on the 29th."
