The Rockman EXE and Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz and The Black Cat Wiz collaboration is now in full swing. And while many of us in English-speaking territories can’t take part directly, we’ve got a rundown of what's included, along with some very nice new artwork created specifically for the event.
Titled “Rockman EXE Operation Genma Special Zone,” the event features an original story that transports the player to another world, where they meet Netto and team up with Rockman.EXE, Blues.EXE, and Quiz RPG’s Kiwamu to investigate a strange bug phenomenon spreading through the Suzaku Great Rod. As the mystery unfolds, they come face-to-face with the remnants of Gospel and a new threat born from the discord between humans and Guardians.
The event gacha features Rockman.EXE, Blues.EXE, Forte.EXE, and Kiwamu, each with newly created artwork. Rockman.EXE is voiced by Akiko Kimura, Blues.EXE by Masaya Matsukaze, Forte.EXE by Keiko Nemoto, and Kiwamu by Takuma Terashima.
The game's Quiz Rush mode received an EXE-themed makeover, too. Rockman.EXE faces off against waves of Mettaurs during “Quiz Attack” sequences, which lifts assets directly from EXE 3. Different Soul Unisons from EXE 4 make an appearance, although their conditions vary.
Players can also claim several bonuses during the campaign period. Logging in grants 10 Rush Tickets, while five total login days rewards players with the “Heartful Navi Rockman” spirit, voiced by Akiko Kimura. A ten-day login bonus unlocks a free 10-pull gacha with one guaranteed L-rank card. Players can also take advantage of up to 70 free gacha pulls, available as one free 10-pull per day through June 5th.

All in all, it’s a pretty full-featured collab, with a dedicated story and new character art. It may not be the easiest event for overseas fans to jump into, but there’s still plenty here for us to appreciate from afar.
Rockman EXE Operation Genma Special Zone is scheduled to run until June 30th at 3:59 PM JST.
