Beta Mega Man X5 Gameplay

It's been a little of a while since we last had some decent beta footage. Today, rikaru111 brings us an early look at Mega Man X5 with various audio and superficial differences from the final retail build. Can you spot them?

I wondered when there would be footage that shows that beta underwater music. Awesome video!

Beta videos aren't interesting if there are few differences.

Mcduff stage's music sounds interesting.

ZERO has his own theme in the intro level here (unless I just don't remember him having one in the final version?), and I did find it interesting that they used a different song in the water stage rather than a remixed BUBBLE CRAB theme. Cool video!

Interesting but there are not much differences.

What ? I dont understand spanish, sorry.

I will definitely not learn Spanish at all, I prefer learn other language. Thank you.

Might wanna work on your english before you move on to another language. :)

You can find Duff McWhalen's unused, original song on the X1~X6 OST, or just youtube unused Duff McWhalen Deep Sea.

I guess the use of Bubble Crab's theme was another nod that X5 served as the conclusion of the series...but then X6 came out.

Nice find, Protodude. News has been slow lately...hopefully Captivate '09 will get us something to be hyped about.

As for the Spanish...You don't have to know very much to get the main idea here - he's basically saying "you'll notice here that ZERO has his own theme, where not in the final version" etc., but it's not that important to get the idea of the video.

I should also add that the English is on the video's subtitles anyhow, LOL.

I wonder why beta versions are always cooler than the final release... :)
