Another Sign of SSR3 Comic's End

After just two issues, Ryo Takamisaki's Shooting Star comic has come to an end. Regardless of the indications, many have their doubts of such a sudden, unannounced end.

If you're still uncertain, I direct you towards Coro Coro Comic's "comic index" page. Here, the site lists the various series currently being published throughout the pages of Coro Coro. Notice anything missing? Compared to last month's version of the page, Shooting Star Rockman isn't listed.

The comic's future doesn't seem all that bright. I guess the next thing we can expect from the comic is a book compiling all two chapters...then again, is that even worth a purchase?

  1. Maybe, with this, Capcom will finally move on with the franchise.

  2. Yup, I can only think about Capcom taking another path for Rockman... but all this *end SSR3 anime*, *end SSR3 game*, *end SSR3 comics*... what's up anyway? :(

  3. Idiots, Fabiano...let's face it Capcom only wanted an SSR3 PROMO comic, not a full story!

As for both of you, ZX faces similar times after just two games, so tread lightly in regards to moving on, as Capcom may just now have nowhere to go after SSR...seeing a sales issue tied to the economy, there may still be hope, but since there is a Complete Works, the future of Rockman rests solely on a miracle...

  4. I think the comic was just a promotional story for SSR3 all along. That's why it only lasted this short.

Even still, I'm rather down that the SSR series is seemingly coming to an end. It's one of my top favorite Rockman series.

  5. I'm not convinced of SSR's end yet. We'll have to see what happens.

Who knows, what with the news in the newest post, there could be some kind of EXE/SSR/third network timeline game crossover. That could be wicked.
