Animal Abuse In Rockman DASH

When a game is translated and released in other countries, many changes are made to meet various protocols and standards. Rockman DASH's localization is no exception. The transition from DASH to Mega Man Legends brought forth a number of cuts, the most significant being the infamous "animal abuse" actions:

Interesting, no? What I find truly amazing is that such actions weren't cut in Legends 2; it was possible to "attack" an array of animals ranging from rabbits and foxes, to a duck decked out in winter clothing.

  4. I got the video... I don't condone animal violence or anything, but when I see an annoying dog, sometimes I feel like kicking it. :P

I always thought it seemed weird in MML when you just told the dog to go away and it did.

  7. @anon2: So every other aspect of the Megaman games where people are put in danger and hurt doesn't bug you?

  8. I really feel pissedoff when they remove content in localized version.
But in this case, i agree with this.
I hate this kind of Animal Abuse

  9. Animal abuse... this Rockman Legends thing is nothing if compared with all that brutality and mass human killing in modern games.

  10. At least Generic agreed with me.

What are you talk about ? I am not going to discuss it but I dont like human being put in danger either but I am talking about this video. :)

  11. It's obvious you two are one and the same, by your language abilities. Animal abuse is by no means a good thing, but it gets blown way out of proportion. Worry about abortion instead.

  12. I fully agree with Generic. I am very glad this was removed, personally. I just can't stand violence against animals, and as a dog owner, violence against dogs just chokes me up, particularly in a game geared toward kids.

  15. What does being deaf have to do with proper written English?

I'm sorry you're deaf, must be miserable. :(

  16. miserable ? What are you talk about ? Being deaf have nothing to do with being miserable at all. I am proud to be deaf and did you know that my deaf friend is a doctor ? Yeah:

Maybe you do not know much about deaf world and deaf culture. Anyway, I am huge fan of Rockman since 1987 and I am going to study to be personal trainer one day. That's my goal and I am going to have rockman figure on my desk in my own office one day. :P

  18. Can't say I'm big on animal abuse. And to be honest, I wasn't bothered too much, since some dogs attack you, but it's too bad there's not a special weapon for it, like a net or something.

It would be nice if Paprika acted different around you after, give a little more cause/effect...

Don't like the kicking of cats at all, though, considering one is pregnant.
