Ryuusei no Rockman TV Game Up For Bidding

Denpa Henkan! On Air! the highly obscure Ryuusei no Rockman "plug-n-play TV game" is currently up for bidding at Yahoo! Auctions. The device, released by Takara TOMY, is a self contained module that hooks up to a TV set. Players wear a WarRock shaped motion detector on their arm to execute various actions on screen (in vein of a Wii remote) in a FPS perspective (think Super Advenure Rockman). The game presents players with numerous challenges that range from shooting on screen targets, to slashing foes and the like. Simply put, it's kind of like a spiritual successor to Super Adventure Rockman. A small morsel of the game in action below:

Those interested can bid on the game here. Starting price is a low 700 Yen ($8.00) with 3 days remaining. If you win, be sure to hit us up with more gameplay footage!

  1. 700yen + auction fees + in-japan shipping + shipping to the US = $5,000,000.00. Seriously though, I bought like $300 worth of stuff via one of these sites and it ended up costing me $900 total, which I guess is cheaper than a plane ticket....
