Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Hits PSN Today

After what seems like forever, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 makes it's way onto PlayStation Network later today for $15. The latest edition of the classic 2-D fighter offers new features including online play, trophies, and cleaned up visuals.

Additionally, the rumored PS3 retail package is available today too for $14.99. Inside the GameStop exclusive pack, you'll find a MvC2 redemption code and a one month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics. The retail pack is limited to 15,000 copies nationwide.

  1. I do believe the special "retail" package comes out tomorrow. But don't quote me on that. I cannot wait for this to be released. Wonder when they will upload it. The waiting game continues, but not for long!

It does. I'm planning on picking it up myself later. Hopefully, my GS will have one.

  4. yeah Gamestop told me to expect it on the 14th.

Reconsidering just getting the regular PSN version now because the Unity Points that were listed before were my #1 reason for wanting the retail version.

  5. I think you meant "trophies" instead of "achievements"?

  6. I dont need it. I will just convert PSX images to EBOOT.pbp using PSX2PSP, no problem. :)

  7. Uh, this was a PS2 game Anon#4. PSX2PSP ain't gonna work for ya.

BTW, how much does this cost on PSN? I had heard $15 before, but wasn't sure. If it's $15, why would you not wanna get the retail pack?

I am sorry but I mean for Rockman Complete Works -- oops and it works for me just fine with CFW 5.00 m33-6.
    Sorry for the confusion.
