Get Equipped With OSS Wallpaper

The official Operate Shooting Star website saw a very minor update today in the form of a wallpaper download:

Three sizes are available over at the "Brain area" here. Thanks for the tip, Mark, GSR

  3. At least the quality there doesn't look bad.

I wonder what the other 2 sections will have?

  5. - I wonder HOW Capcom will "translate" the game title on USA side... ;) MegaMan Battle Network StarForce Operation?

  8. I suppose this is better than getting nothing... Here's to hoping this isn't a dissappointment.

  11. @Anon 3

Didn't people think the same thing with Star Force 2?

I doubt that it won't be showing up in Summer 2010.

  12. Star Force 2 was a primary entry in a new series. This is a port of an old game with a questionably marketable crossover, hot on the heels of a game that sold "meh"ly.

I'm a little worried for it... Capcom America might actually see that it's not much new, and know that the series wasn't wildly as popular here (particularly with reviewers, who thought it was getting old. Now it IS the definition of old), and decide not to publish it. Europe didn't sell RnR3. This game is riding on the fact that the Japanese absolutely loved EXE. I wish the same were true here...

But I still have hope. Just saying it's a possibility. :) I can imagine reading a feature about it in Nintendo Power a few months from now, where they recommend it to newcomers to the series and oldbie fanboys who loved them all, but not for the typical person who played one or two games, and I will think back to now and be glad. XD
