Operate Shooting Star On November 12th

Gpara reports that Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star will arrive on Japanese store shelves November 12th, 2009. The report goes on to mention the game will contain new characters and a variety of new features. Additionally, Gpara has posted a few (old) screenshots for the game and two pieces of high quality artwork.

Well, not much else to say than that! More OSS news as it comes in!

  4. I knew the game would have some nice new features. That ought to be neat. And what's wrong with all their art? It looks so "GIF-y"

  5. Yeah, that's great and all, but... Is there anything on the Robotics Timeline yet? X9? Elf Wars? ZX3? Dash 3? ANYTHING?

Network timeline is great and all, but there wouldn't be a Rockman without the original Robotics Timeline...

  7. Now I'm a little more re-assured by "new characters (this could just mean Clockman, though...) and new features." I have a little more confidence. We don't have long at all. I'm sure a good chunk of the game already being made helped...

  8. I like that piece of artwork right there. The official site says it will be 4,190 yen.

  9. Saem as SSR3's release date, I see... I wonder if its just a coincedence?

  10. TGS is coming up. I think we'll see more of OSS then.

  11. Role...if there was that kind of information, don't you think it would have been said? Give it a rest already.

I'm very curious as to what "new characters means". Are we getting new Navis? New Denpa Seijin? What exactly?

  12. I still don't understand why they haven't added a BGM onto the site. Protodude, do you know when more info will arrive? I am anxious to know more! I wonder if they will use the navi costamizer. It would be cool to fight Megaman.EXE in Starfore style. Please tell me if Bass will be included in the game. I don't know if this is helpful or not but, there is supposed to be a new rival for Geo.

  13. @Sketch: Why, yes, I do. That was my whining about the lack of anything from Capcom about it. After all, the year's half over, and we've not heard anything at all.

  14. @Anon4:

Most likely, the next major OSS update will coincide with the October issue of Coro Coro Comics (coming in mid September). Of course, that's not to say the official OSS website will update with more info beforehand.

  15. Cool your jets, Role. Word on the street is that Capcom's gearing up big time for TGS. Smart money's on Okamiden (Okami 2 or a remake most likely) and Gyakuten Saiban 5, but I wouldn't put it past them to announce another robotics timeline game.

  16. Thank you for answering my question Protodude. I will be looking forward to the September issue of the Coro Coro Comics. I don't know if this is helpful or not but I have heard that another OSS site update is coming. My friend told me that and he has been right about a lot of things related to Megaman. I don't know where he gets his info.

  17. No, there will be no OSS site updates. They're just going to leave the newly opened blog alone and the site will die without one update before the game is released.

    :P /sarcasm

  18. The OSS's "Brain" blog has a new wallpaper. They're blabbing about something about cotton. O_o I wish I could read Japanese better. >_>
