Rush Marine Sees A Wide Release

Mega Man Rush Marine saw a nation-wide release today.  The 2-D side scrolling shooter, previously exclusive to AT&T, is currently being offered by a number of mobile phone providers across North America.  The official press release:
LOS ANGELES – December 7, 2009 – Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today released Mega Man®: Rush Marine, an original Mega Man adventure designed for the mobile platform. In this side-scrolling shooter set in the deep blue sea, players take control of Mega Man and his shape-shifting robot dog, Rush, as they attempt to stop Dr. Wily and his robot minions from destroying the seabed.

Fight your way through expansive levels teeming with 14 enemies and numerous hazards. Explore three aquatic environments including Shallow Water, Volcanic Reef and Deep Water. Battle through ten levels and defeat as many robot masters, each with a unique weapon that you can capture and use for good.

Mega Man: Rush Marine is currently available for standard BREW and Java devices throughout North America and is expected to release on Windows Mobile and Blackberry in early 2010. More information about Mega Man: Rush Marine visit the Capcom official press site at www.press.capcom.com

To download Rush Marine, check out your phone's on-device store, and see if the game supports your model! (still no word on a iPhone/iPod Touch version, I'm afraid...)

Hopefully, a wider release means we'll learn more about the game.  I don't know about you, but I'm just itching for some footage!

  4. Don't know what you guys are smoking, but the iPhone is amazing. I've had mine for almost two years, and it's never stopped being amazing. Best smartphone out there right now IMO... and that includes the Droid, which I've used and am unimpressed with.

I just hope Rush Marine comes to the iPhone soon... x_X

  5. Well, 7 months ago I bought the cheapest piece of crap Motorolla that I could find in the Verizon store, and it now has Rush Marine. Of course, the screen size is ridiculously small, so thank goodness for auto-fire (never thought I'd hear myself say that for a MegaMan game).
