Japan Gets New E-Tank Energy Drinks

In honor of Mega Man 10's release, Capcom Japan is producing a new variation of the popular E-Tank energy drink, which features Rockman 10 branding and a new blueberry flavor.

Side-by-side comparison of new/old design below after the break.

Priced at ¥137 (US$1.24), the cans are currently being sold for a limited time. For those living outside of Japan, you get your hands on an E-Tank energy drink of your very own directly from Amazon.com. The English version has been available for quite some time now and can be purchased either through Amazon or Toy Wiz for $3.99 a pop. Shipping varies from location.

  1. I tried the new one about a month back. Honestly I prefered the old one. The new one makes your teeth blue, so you can't really drink it outside the house.

  2. Clear?

So now can Doc Brown use an E-Tank in the DeLorean? Ah ha ha.

...oof, now I'm reminded of the DeLorean armor in the old BnG comics.

  3. Honestly, I don't see the difference between the two E-Tank can designs.

  4. There's a new variation of sprites, and a Rockman 10 TV screen on the back of the new cans.

  5. I think I'm going to order one of the US ones. I still haven't tried one... I wouldn't mind getting ahold of an old Japanese one, but the new one doesn't sound very good to me, being blueberry flavor.
