What's Ruth Shiraishi, the voice actress of Mega Man in MM8 and MMX4, been up to these days? Selling real estate in Tokyo, so it seems. Below, a video of Ms. Shiraishi hard at work, providing a tour of various office across Tokyo. Listen carefully and you'll hear the Blue Bomber!
For comparision's sake, Ruth as Mega Man in Mega Man 8:
Say what you will about her performance, but I always felt she fit the demeanor perfectly.

Thanks to Keiji Dragon for the discovery.
That's funny, I know I read about this already, and I thought it was on here...ReplyDelete
Is this repost week Protodude?ReplyDelete
So does she know now that it's pronounced "base"ReplyDelete
@Anons: We discussed this in the comments a while back, but I thought it deserved a mention on the blog.ReplyDelete
Her voice doesn't match her face. It's like she ate a helium balloon.ReplyDelete
I can actually see MegaMan doing the tour. Haha.ReplyDelete
Equally as mind-blowing as the clip of the Pikachu chick on that Japanese game show, when they're doing personal introductions.ReplyDelete
comparing the videos makes me lol xDReplyDelete

Yeah, that was me mentioning it in that "We'll Find Dr. Wowie." post that Protodude made a month ago. I still think she's Rebecca Chambers. =P
I always thought she was perfect or Classic Megaman. He is a young prepubescent little boy. little boys sometimes have effeminate voices. Megaman with an effeminate voice sounded FAR better than his Powered up voice, which doesnt match his intended physical ageReplyDelete
That's funny, I thought I've seen this exact newspost several months agoReplyDelete
So... I'm guessing this is here because news is coming out REEEEEALY slow, right? I mean, it's only barely related, and that's stretching it...ReplyDelete
