Subscriptions Are Go For Archie's Mega Man

As of today, Archie's official online store have begun offering subscriptions for their upcoming Mega Man comic series. A one year subscription -- twelve issues a year -- costs $22.50 USD. Regularly, subscriptions go for $35.88.

The shop notes that it can take up to six to eight weeks in order for a subscription to start up. If you subscribe now, it's more than likely you'll get issue #1 just in time for the planned May 4th release. Subsequent issues will arrive between two to four weeks later.

Currently, subscriptions are only being offered to residents of North America. However, according to tipster Generic Overlord, Archie briefly had the option for an international subscription -- but that has since been removed. Could be a glitch or something, so do pop your head in here every once in a while and see if it comes back.

So, yeah, this is the news many of you have been waiting for. Head on down to Archie's and secure yourself a subscription!

Thanks, Generic Overlord

  3. I don't quite trust the postal service to deliver the comic in a suitable condition. Probably worrying over nothing, but I've got some comics in the mail before with their covers bent and such. Not a pretty thing for a collector and MegaMan collector alike. =/

  4. I think that Archie comics, being the decades-old institution that it is, won't act as irresponsibly as Dreamwave. To its subject material, or its customers.

  5. What, just because the last MM comic was canned that means this one will be, too? Archie isn't on the verge of bankruptcy like Dreamwave.

  9. Just put in my subscription! Don't worry MegaMac, I used to subscribe to Archie's Sonic Universe comic and all issues came in brand-new condition with no bends.

  10. "Currently, subscriptions are only being offered to residents of North America and Canada"

Canadians are residents of North America...

I don't think this will die 4 issues in, like others said, even if it is a flop, they'd at least do a subscriptions worth of comics.
