New Info on Arcade1Up's Mega Man Plug & Play Collection

It's been a whole eight months since we last saw Arcade1Up's officially-licensed Mega Man plug & play "console". The device was initially revealed at CES... and then radio silence. Granted, we are living in the middle of a pandemic.

Anyway, new information on this oddity has finally come to light! By way of YouTube channel COOLTOY, we have brand-new images of the "Mega Man Collection" console and its drastically redesigned controller. What's more, we also have confirmation that the console will include Mega Man 1 through Mega Man 6. No surprises there, really.

There is no current information on how much this thing will cost, let alone when it will hit retail. You might want to keep an eye on Arcade1Up's website in the meantime. Stay tuned!

Silly Protodude, didn't you hear what many Nintendo "fans" have said? The pandemic didn't happen, like Nintendo, Arcade1Up had no excuse to not give updates on this thing!

    (i'm joking ofc).

  2. I never really understood the point of these. It can only play six games - why bother?

    1. Its a plug n play. Some of them have less then 10 games, some have 30+.

That said, I'll pass. I already own these 6 on the MMLC. Now if they'd done Power Fighters or some oddball mash of games they'd definitely have my attention.

  3. Would rather have the typical stand-up arcade style machine then some plug and play controller.

  4. I'd be curious to see how the input delay compares to the Switch version of the Legacy Collection.

  5. It's a nice little novelty, but I think I'd rather play the games on the Switch.
Or better yet, I'll keep on playing 20XX, it's got more replay value.
