First Look at Mega Man: Fully Charged SDCC '18 Prints

As previously reported, Comic-Con attendees can get their hands exclusive, signed Mega Man: Fully Charged prints by artist Jose Emroca Flores (Booth #4722). No images were available at the time, but James went ahead posted a couple previews to his Instagram page. Check 'em out above! And yes; I can confirm everything you see is gonna be in the show. Though stylized here, these are indeed the final Robot Master designs (Mega Mini, too).

Both prints are available from James' website during SDCC for a limited time, too. You can purchase "Mega Man Jumper" here and "Mega Man Rush Moto" here. Both prints are 18x24 printed on heavy watercolor paper.

More Fully Charged news soon. Stay tuned.

  1. Dear god. I hope they at least look better in motion, because i'm not a fan of these at all.

  2. Rush Cycle is back from mm8 which also has the same tech Gogo Tomago from Big Hero 6 applied to her bike! Elec Man has a Plug Man arm and I assume that black Zero like robot is Sgt. Night and is created by Dr. Wily who is hiding in the shadows for now. I hope it at least has a good balanced story.

    6. You've got that me me me only vibes shrap, that's the problem (but you're not the only one here at Rockman Corner, rejoice!).

The zealousness towards Mega Man causes some of the fans to become intolerant at each other (also true for other things). Quenched the "pride for my Mega Man" behavior and be thankful for any Mega Man releases be it video games or others.

shrap: "nice try. learn to read."
Feel smart, don't you? It's connected to some of your posts in the past on this site :p

  5. I love the colors in these prints, and this take on Rush is fun. The only robot master design I don't like is the one with dual fans (it doesn't particularly resemble any robot master, but I assume is supposed to be Air or Wind Man). It kinda looks like they gave Cut Man hair, which I think is a cute idea. The Mega Man characters have already had a large number of alternate takes over the decades, and I'm always interested to see new interpretations.

    1. No. Cut Man's hair is fugly. No one looks good in a bowl cut any way.

  6. Ok now we have new visuals for 1) Yellowman, 2)Elec+Plug man, 3)Rush, 4)Mega-mini, and Edge-man.

I do enjoy these artwork, but only as one of those AU illustrations.
As a new series.....well, I shouldn't judge until it airs.

Are you making fun of me…? I'll have you know that I have a condition that makes me laugh at inappropriate times – yes, even when typing…! This same condition makes me use italics instead of all-caps, when I want to emphasize something, and automatically changes my triple-dots and double-dashes into ellipses and en dashes, too.

      It's called "being a writer."

  10. I will say this: At least Rush looks good.

  11. I think what Protodude said before is very fitting.....don't try to imagine this as a faithful representation of the classic series. This is not intended to be the classic Megaman. This is an offshoot like Shooting Start, Battle Network, etc. So the art style, people, etc, are going to be different. Let's give this a chance instead of burning it to the ground before it's even started.

    1. Copypasting my post from the other thread:

"'I have seen a lot of Fully Charged already and let me just say that the show is very much its own thing. You'd be wise to go into it with that mindset.'

I mean, I will. But it still doesn't look good to me, unlike Battle Network and Star Force (even though I do not actually care much for the latter as games proper)."

  12. the prints look alright, wind man? looks like a bouncey ball with eyes and fans, no real design there tbh compared to the others. ill give it a shot either way, one episode watch wont kill me even if it sucks.

  13. Ewww. Seriously, what's with animators trying to make their art as ugly as possible? Is it some kinda drunken bet in the industry? Thank goodness these are only prints.

Ahh, could that black and gold guy be the mysterious Sgt. Night? If it's Bass, I'll be livid.

  14. We'll see how this turns out. But I will say that elecman look a like is the best one so far as he is exactly how I would picture elecman to be in my mind when I first played mmegaman 1. A complete jackass who has a d-bag smile that says "you can to fight me without my weakness? Hold my beer".

    1. Don't lump burton's work in with this crud. He actually puts effort into what he does.

    2. Eh... considering how bad his Alice and Wonka movies where... i won't say Burton is like how he used to be.

  16. This kinda has a Psychonauts vibe to it, but hey, that's just me.
