First Rockman VR: Targeted Virtual World!! Footage Surfaces

Ever since the game became playable on July 18th in Japan, we have been patiently waiting to see footage of "Rockman VR: Targeted Virtual World!!". And now, thanks to Ucchy-san and Capcom TV, we have our first look at the game in motion.

The footage shown above isn't too long but it gives you a good idea of how the world first virtual reality Rockman game plays. Because it's unlikely we'll see a full play-through any time soon, you may be wondering what happens at the end of the game.

After the player defeats Dr.Wily, he kneels in front of you and laments the fact that people are enjoying VR before escaping the scene. Then, a screen with all the characters smiling at the player is shown and it's game clear!

No word yet if the game will ever reach home consoles (PS4/PS5) or PC. For the time being it will remain exclusive to Plaza Capcom Ikebukuro.

  3. Why are they wasted money on this when they could bring us some Rockman 11 DLC instead ?

  5. Man, I hope this becomes available outside the arcade. It's just a PC game running on Vive, so it would be trivial to release it. Could be a nice cash grab after it's made a run through the arcades.
