Mega Man X DiVE Officially Launches August 16 on iOS and Android

The official English version of Mega Man X DiVE is almost here. After a brief pre-launch beta period earlier this month, developer NebulaJoy has confirmed that the full game will hit both iOS and the Google Play Store on August 16th. This applies to the US, Canada, UK and Ireland. Other regions will reportedly be added later

Mega Man X DiVE's Google Play listing has been updated to reflect the launch date. NebulaJoy staff member "Zero-X" also confirmed the date on the game's official Discord server. Zero-X also said that a number of localization improvements - text fixes pooled from the English-speaking fan-community - will be readily available at launch, too. Nice!

  1. X's armor in the artwork is lighter than the armor on the in game character model for XDive.
(This was about unarmored or base form X btw)

  2. I'll never consider picking up another gacha game. In my experience, the way gacha works is you either pay out tons of cash or you spend tons of time grinding. Either way it's a waste. I'll wait for something better like X9, etc.

  3. Finally!! iOS too! I'm both happy and afraid of how much time I'm going to spend on this app.

  4. If I can't transfer my data then sadly I'm not starting over, spent way too much time in the version already out for me to start this gacha game.

  5. So what happens to the people who spent money on the beta, do they get reimbursed?

  6. I hope i can transfer my data, otherwise no thx

  7. Yeaah this just isn't exciting for me at all. I was somewhat tempted, but then reminded that
it's a gacha game with no story. I thought I felt the need to at least try it for the sake
of showing interest in the brand as a whole, but I want console games - not mobile.

Also, as silly as it sounds it's easy to see Capcom looking at the numbers for XDive and
coming to a dumb conclusion of "Hey, they really like XDive! That means they must want
    more mobile games!!!".

  8. Holdin' out for the Steam release, myself. Partly because I don't know if I could transfer progress from mobile, and mostly because I don't have a game controller compatible with my tablet. It's a tad bit more complicated to play on a tablet than Rockman Xover was, and Nintendo's Switch Pro Controller won't talk with my tablet. (Dumb proprietary stuff…)

But, I might look into this version just to fart around or get a taste.

    1. A Steam Version would make sure you don't play at work... If you have the discipline to not account share.
When I played FFRK a few years back I kept grinding the dailies when I was supposed to be working :p
Leveling up my characters on auto pilot.
(F2P, always F2P never EVER pay for this shit)

  10. I live in Canada and the link worked and it let me preorder so here’s hoping that they meant Canada as well as the US. Fingers crossed.

  13. It is sad this Dive stuff is still going for 2 years now with no end in sight, and ever news item posted here is just 'mostly' Dive or random toys. Seems Capcom is a one trick pony these days. It's getting so boring and old and repetitive. Is that the best they can do? How the mighty have fallen. Give the fans what they want already; not cheap random stuff.

    1. wow... it HAS been just shy of 2 years since the original beta...
Time flies when your NOT having fun, huh lol

I'd settle for a Kotobukiya update instead of more BS Roll nonsense.

    2. Agreed. No one asked for this, people wanted new console games - mostly sequels to previous titles with cliffhangers (X8, ZX 2, Legends 3).

Instead they seem to be completely blind to what the masses of fans want. Apparently we have a “Rockman Taisen” game coming in ‘22…which sounds like something completely different and what’s even more sad is how that’s the ONLY console game on the horizon after MM11.

    3. Honestly i HATE Kotobukiya's model kits, because they are way overpriced, from what ive heard have horrible build quality, and ive also heard are very prone to breakage. Capcom should give the Mega Man license to Bandai, because they make good model kits that have good build quality, arent overpriced, and they arent as prone to breakage, actually in the 90s Bandai did make model kits for mega man and those also look better than Kotobukiya's overpriced crap. (Bandai also made more characters both villains and heroes, unlike Kotobukiya who only make 2 of the main cast and recolors, +1 point to Bandai)

  14. It's about time! Been waiting for this for a while. I just hope they don't completely skip the Summer event and banners, because those tend to be my favorites in the gacha games I've played.

I found this site after I heard about Rockman X Dive and I was looking for more information on it. I come here every day to see all the Mega Man news, and I have Rockman X Dive to thank for that.

  15. Tried the beta and I can't get it to run on my old phone, so I guess I'm waiting for a Steam release for now to try it.

  16. Alright, fine. I'll try it.

  17. This won't overwrite the Eastern version, will it?

    1. It won't. Your account will safely stay on the Asian version.
But you'll need to start from scratch on English server. You can't transfer your account between servers.

    2. No. That's not typically how Gacha's work. What will happen is Japan will be a year ahead of the rest of the world.

  18. To be honest with you I wouldn't waste my time on this game because they did not fix none of the problems from the Japanese to English. You be spending money before you can ask to get the character you want because you can't get the characters that you want from story mode any gold character that you get you have to play the gacha to get. This game of the really money-grabber

    1. Pretty much. It's pretty sick, really.
If you MUST play, play FREE. Don't pay for this kind of game.
If that means the game ends, GOOD.
