"Tangible" Mega Man Item for PAX East?

Capcom hasn't confirmed any goods or paraphernalia they will be selling at their Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) booth yet. However, Senior Community Manager, Brett Elston, was nice enough to drop a little tease about what we can expect from Mega Man:

"Also, "MM25" in the US will extend through 2013, so we have several months left to get some fun stuff out the door. For example, I have something in the works for PAX East that's something I always wanted to see at Capcom show booths. Not a game, obviously, but something tangible for those at the show (and SDCC, NYCC etc). And no, I'm not talking about MM25 pins (which will also be there, FWIW)."

I think it's safe to assume this will be some sort of event-exclusive item. It's a vague tease so it could be anything, really (except for a game). Question is, what has Brett always wanted to see at Capcom booths? Hm...

PAX East kicks off on March 22nd in Boston, Massachusetts. We'll hopefully learn more about this mystery as we inch closer to the date.

  3. I'd think the question may also be answered with "What hasn't there been out of Capcom in the way of paraphernalia?", since the quote it's not contextually limited to Mega Man.

  4. I still refuse to accept anything made at this point as Anniversary goods.

You missed the bell, Capcom. Let's see how you do on the makeup exam.

More Merchandise? Eh, I'll pass. It'll probably just be another Classic or X thing. Those are a dime a dozen...

  6. @Fantasy Empress Rolina - As a hardcore X series fan, I'm fine if its X stuff since I got all the MegaMan X stuff to date so far & Some of the Rockman X stuff. (prefer MegaMan title over Rockman title labeled items)

Why not? I mean Mega Man's North American anniversary (i.e. the Mega Man name) is April 1988 (probably even later in Europe). So for those of us outside Japan, they're right on time.

  12. It's gonna probably be an announcement of those Ultrabooks, or just some item or toy that'll end up overpriced as shit.

  13. Well, OBVIOUSLY not a game. Capcom doesn't make Mega Man games anymore.
