Good news for our friends east of the Atlantic: Nintendo of Europe officially launched Mega Man 2 on the Nintendo 3DS eShop today. The NES classic will run you a mere €4.99 / £4.49.

North American 3DS owners can download the game Thursday, February 7. That's only a few short days away!

Yeah, as if they haven't re-released that game a million times already. It's been over a year since Dr. Wily's Revenge was added to the (e)Shop Channel. When are they going to add the rest of the Game Boy games?

  2. Now that I have a reason to get a 3DS (yay upcoming Pokemon games!), I must agree with Krazy Monkey. I already own this game for more than one console and know every nook and cranny of the levels! I will probably get it only so I can play it when I go on vacations or I am on the road as a passenger, but still... I would love to play the gameboy games!
