If you've followed Mega Man Legends 3 from day one, then you're probably familiar with some of the game's music. We were fortunate enough to hear a new rendition of the classic Flutter theme, and some snippets of original pieces by way of gameplay footage.
The above video is a custom edit of one of Legends 3's new themes, "Barret vs. Tron Bonne." Unlike the Flutter remix, Capcom never released this one publicly, so avid Legends fan Hypershell took it upon himself to recreate it from what little game footage and trailers we saw.
Oh, and would you look at that; we've got a link to download the song right here. Enjoy it, everyone! Hopefully, there's more where that came from... if we ever get the Prototype.
This has to be my favourite piece from legends 3 out of the few themes we've heard, it just hurts to know that we may never get to actually play this game.ReplyDelete
No one really gets it do they??ReplyDelete
Capcom said in an interview Prototype is not any part of Legends 3. It's a prologue and wouldn't be a part of the game.
This means none of Legends 3 actually exists, and we don't know if any of the music would be used again.
Sounds like a Pokemon battle theme to me, but it's still a very nice theme.ReplyDelete
@Anon #2: So what. Fans were still looking forward to the Prototype all the same, and we didn't get it either.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Protodude! I threw that theme up on the Facebook page as soon as I had it uploaded, but stuff gets buried there quickly.ReplyDelete
Dunno if this theme would have been in the "final" Legends 3 or not (Tron had her own exclusive battle music in the DASH2 prologue way back when), but either way it's pretty darn awesome.
Also added an MP3 link today. Call it a belated celebration for the 100k achieving their goal in Likes.
Ok. With the faster paced action that Barret was capable of, this would have been awesome to kick the bonne's butt again to.ReplyDelete
*sigh* yet another reason to be sore at capcom...
This would've worked for me. I'm still hoping that the Legends fans can change Capcom's mind about cancelling the game.ReplyDelete
Oh and a bit of news from the CAPCOM store that opened a while ago in Japan.. http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/481/481988/ReplyDelete
I just realised... When fan reactions of Barrett turned out to be mixed, but also slightly more negative, did that perhaps frighten Capcom about Prototype? He was supposed to be the main charatcer, with Volnutt as unlockable according to the Hoff and Capcom, so that could have contributed.ReplyDelete
Devil May Cry 4 featured dual protagonists, and that game was still fun to play.ReplyDelete
You could also say the same for X4and up.
Really love the tune. I decided to do a take on it. It's not much, but read the description for details. =PReplyDelete
Man I just wish the game still gets released.ReplyDelete
I just wish the game gets released :(ReplyDelete
