Kick Off Your Weekend With The Sounds of "We Are Rock-Men!"

Importing soundtracks can be a pricey affair, especially if you have your sights set on "We Are Rock-Men!", the latest album from Capcom's own in-house sound team. Fortunately, YouTube's got you covered. If you're feeling a little too hard pressed to pick up a copy, user CWU01P has put the album up in its entirey for all to enjoy. And it's just dandy.

Slick arrangements, if you ask me. A couple hits/misses, but all-in-all it's a solid album.

Thanks for the tip, Mac!

  1. The Blues' theme ended up being way better than I originally thought, and I originally thought it sounded pretty awesome!

Btw, why did the user blocked comments on the Rockman DASH track? :S

  2. haven't listened yet, might later, but i do wish that if they're going to do cover art for remix albums, they'd use the unarmored versions of rock and blues. i understand why they can't for X and Zero, but rock and blues DO have unarmored forms. ...come to think of it, what would roll look like WITH armor? it'd be cool to see her in armor like rock and blues.

  5. @Jez: Probably because debates over Legends 3 would have been the inevitable.

Anyway, I like the sounds of this soundtrack.

  6. I'd say give ffshrine a search for the torrent (wink wink)

  7. Thank's for the plug Protodude. My channel is also full of countless tracks from various Rockman hacks if you're interested in that sort of a thing.

HeatPhoenix someone already gave you the answer you seek in this comment thread.

As for the comments being disabled on the DASH song, I felt anything that could be said on the song would be lost in a sea of Legends 3 comments so why bother?

  8. Way too much keyboard mess in this album..

  9. *cough*TMMN*cough*

Anyways, album is pretty good but I think it has a few problems:

    1. There isn't a single Rockman 4 remix

    2. Why did they need 3 arrangements of Dark Man's theme? They could have stuck one from 4, 7 and 8 (which don't get enough love.)

    3. Like last year's album, why does it feel that there are too many Rockman 5 arrangements (don't get me wrong, I love Rockman 5 but it doesn't feel balanced.)

Other than that though, it has some great tracks!

  13. Shame. I can't comment on how sexy the guitar was on the Legends track. That track is instantly going into my iPod.

  14. Wait a sec, I'm not the only Mac around here? I'm known as either Mac or MegaMac but I don't remember sending this in, lol. =P

As for the soundtrack itself. Superb. Some tracks are better than others but damn, it's some good stuff. Again, the Protoman theme is one of the best arrangements of a Mega Man song I've heard. Definitely saving this album.

  15. @CWU01P

not just legends 3 comments, but also anti capcom comments, and not to mention arguments, people coming in to defend capcom, people coming to defend megaman altogether, and the list just goes on. you made a wise decision blocking comments on that one, lest ye have an endless flamewar.
