Playing Mega Man In The Name Of Charity

In another instance of gaming for a cause, the KNIGHTS (Kind Nerds Inspiring Great Heroics Through Streaming) have kicked off a gaming marathon for Child's Play. Beginning now until August 21, the group will blaze through a number of games, including trumping Mega Man 2 (with no special weapons) and a blind run of Mega Man Legends. Check out the stream below!

Every single penny earned through donations goes to Child's Play, who officially sanctioned the event. You can make a donation directly at the stream's page here.

  1. Let's hope they raise more money than I did. If you'll remember, I raised $25, all of which I donated myself.

  2. You should consider giving SDA props next time they do a charity run, since they tend to do a few Mega Man games. They had one just last month where they had two people do Mega Man 3 simultaneously to see who was faster for instance.

  3. My apologies to anyone who wanted to watch the stream at the moment. I am in charge of it and we have been experiencing terrible technical difficulties due to the venue. Please expect us to be finished in 20 minutes at the most, which is when I will start the MM2 no weapon run. Thank you so much for the support Protodude, and especially the community here, it really is difficult to find an audience for these sort of things when your group is absolutely obscure. Thank you for your patience as well!
