Just in time for Spring, you can nab these threads from the Capcom Store for $19.95 a pop. Or, if you'd prefer to not spend money, you could try your hand at winning 'em via The Mega Man Network!

Our buddies at TMMN are giving away the Light's Robot Repair Shop and Wily Robotics all three shirts for free! All you have to do is answer a question about Mega Man's 25th anniversary and you're in. Check out this post for details.

  3. I would have liked it if it was a new artwork made specifically for the shirts, but I'll pass on this pretentious hipster bullshit

  4. It's not pretentious. It's normal. You'd rather walk around in public with some anime character on your shirt?

  5. Of course. Would you like to hide who you are?

  6. Actually, we're giving away all three. =)

  7. @ 5th Anon,

You slob, it's good to know your embarrassed to wear things like that in public even if your a fan of it. Tsk Tsk!

  8. I even am on the street with NES controlers, Perry the Platypus and Guku on my T-shirts.
I'm also not ashamed of having an anime of gaming T shirts.
Kudos for defending geekness over the 9000 Lv

  9. @MegaNerdX: I don't get it, why should you ever be embarassed of wearing what you love?

  10. And why not we take some fanmade artwork and designs, make our own tees and not pay a shit to capcom until they treat as people and not crap?

    (or win the TMMN contest)

  11. @Diego, because we love Megaman, not fan characters. Also, every time I imagine someone wearing a fan character T-shirt I remember Chris-chan.

Would have been nice if they put some effort to these. A full metal jacket reference? That doesn't even make sense. And the generic robot in Wily's?

It's like the past year has been Capcom saying "Screw you, you think we were lazy? This is lazy!".

  12. I don't want T-shirts, Capcom, I want games. Y'know, the stuff you're been making for all your other flagship series.

  13. Does there have to be an argument on every PRC post made after last year's Capcom bombs dropping, or are we just that lucky to see it happening worse now?

  14. those really are some crappy looking shirts, how about some new megaman games capcom?

  15. @Saito Volnutt: If we don't have a discussion, what's the point in even commenting? :)

  16. Alot of you guys sure are angry, whiny little geeks...no wonder Capcom won't make your games. I wouldn't either.

As for the designs, these are VERY cool. I really dig the style for Wily and Light and the humor in FMJ. Just sticking an anime illustration on a t-shirt is weaksauce.

  17. I'll take a Dr Weil shirt over a Dr. Wily shirt any day. Dr Weil was one hell of a villain, very well written. Dr. Wily... kida comes across as a joke.

  18. @Role: Wily's definitely not supposed to be taken seriously, nor is the classic series in general =P

  19. I like the helmet and Light ones, but the Wily one is meh. I'd like to see shirts with the bad guys. Just not like this.

Why didn't they use iconic robots? Even if they didn't want to do Robot Masters, sniper joes or mets would have been better than some generic angry robots that look nothing like characters from the games.

  20. @Anon: I know. The story is weak, that's one of the reasons I don't like classic very much.

Weil, though... that's one of the best villains I've ever seen. Period, not just in MM, but in all of my experience as a gamer. That guy was really well written.
