Rockman X DiVE – Global Closed Beta Test Registration is Live!

Starting today and until August, 22nd at 12:00 (GMT+8), registrations for the Rockman X DiVE Global Closed Beta Test are open for everyone around the world. There is, however, one small catch: only Android users can participate. At this time, iOS users won't be able to participate in this test. A Google Account/GMail is REQUIRED to sign up.

A total of 30,000 players will be randomly selected to participate and the approval list will be published on August 23rd at 12:00 (GMT+8). It is unclear when the beta test will start; Capcom Taiwan only mention that the event will start at the end of August. Fans who get into the beta test will only be able to play within a certain set of hours every day between 18:00 (GMT+8) to 6:00 (GMT+8). All data from closed beta test accounts will be deleted after the event – nothing will carry over to the final game.

I'm sure you are anxious to sign up, so go ahead and do it HERE! Good luck!

  1. So that's 5 AM to 5 PM Central Time. Got it. Not a huge window of opportunity since I work between those hours, but I could at least play on weekends. Worth a shot!

  2. I'm just gonna wait for launch

Hey Protodude, any word on pricing?
I can't tell if this is freeware or not... If there's little to no Gacha, then I can't see how this will be free... Unless it's full of ads

    1. Nothing official yet. It's free to start.

    2. Free to start?
Oh, I don't like the sound of that... If this is a subscription game then this is an instant pass

    3. Not sure that "Free to start" means "subscription".

    4. Free to start is open ended.
      It "could" mean subscription.
It could also mean demo to full version.
It could mean there is a stamina gauge for limited play at a given time unless you buy stamina (and I hate that mechanic too). But this I can tolerate.

I maintain a wait and see approach.

  3. Since it's a global beta will it feature multiple languages or if we got in would we be forced to play in a foreign language? I know it's a beta and won't feature the full game, but knowing what's going on in any text form would be useful

    1. I think is safe to assume the beta will be in English. Everything they post has English and Taiwanese/Mandarin text.

  4. Yikes, I usually sleep or work at those hours, but... there are still a few days I can play, so I might as well give it a shot.

  6. I'm interested but it really depends on the price model.
If it's free ware, I might try it until whatever the catch is becomes obtuse
If it's a one time buy for a reasonable price, I'll buy.
If it's a subscription model, I'll avoid it like the plague
