Do You Believe in Zero? Buy This Shirt

Just in time for warm summer days, Capcom is readying another Mega Man t-shirt. Over at Capcom Unity, DJay announced the Capcom Store is rolling out an exclusive "Mega Man Zero City Defender t-shirt." It's quite nifty.

The shirt isn't due out until May 22nd, but pre-orders are currently being accepted at $19.95. Secure yours here.

Thanks for the tip, RonJon.

  1. X series Zero... Of course it is. Why would it be anything else...

  2. I will admit, I like the shirt. But that's mostly because of my preference for dark shirts.

  3. @Role It's sad, no one loves MMZ style Zero...

Oh yes, because there's been such a great horde of Zero (or non-Classic for that matter) shirts in the shop *eyeroll*

  5. A little dramatic for a Mega Man shirt, but still awfully tempting.

@Anti-Wave Man: The MMZ style Zero is a tangent that looks softer and more child-like despite the general Zero series atmosphere being noticeably darker than the others. So when the Zero-series games aren't in full swing, the novelty of the design quickly wears off. Visually, X-series Zero is simply "the" Zero.

  6. Is this a reference to something? Or am I honestly endorsing a belief in Zero by wearing this shirt?

  7. Believe in Zero? I don't get the reference. And what's the "O" in Zero?

I know Capcom's trying, but they should get some more community feedback or something. Fangamer is run by fans, and they do a better job at stuff like this. I would have loved a black shirt with the red Z logo that's on Zero's armor.

  9. I'd believe in Zero, but I don't know what he's fighting for.

  10. The believe in Zero thing largely came from Zero 4 if I'm right, though it might've popped up in other games from time to time, it's mainly from Z4's end.

I believe he found his answer by Zero 4. Get current with the franchise. I believe his exact words were:

"I never cared about justice and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears, I will destroy it!"

  13. @Anon

If that was true, then why X Zero?

I think side characters should almost never be the first priority, and Zero is no exception. As a character, I like him of course, but as someone who constantly steals X's spot from anything, personally I hate his guts.

  14. @anons: I never played Zero 4 (yet) but I think the answer is a little more obvious than you think. The "I believe in Zero" could be referencing the "I Believe In Harvey Dent" from "The Dark Knight".

  15. @Role: Don't be goin' 'round ruinin' my X4 joke now.

  16. Very nice design, though I would've preferred X to Zero. And no girl sizes, as per usual.

Seriously though, what is that in the red circle? Surely the only logical thing to put there would be the maverick symbol...

  17. @Rock-X Yeah, that's probably it. That makes much more sense now.

... Now I want it more.

  18. Fuck you people! Zero is awesome!

  19. Why are there no good Mega man T shirts? How hard is it to take some art working, put it on a T Shirt and don't ruin it with any stupid fucking words or watermarks? Just put X and Zero on a shit and let it be, not some 8 bit blown up block of shit. Jesus fuck and you people buy this shit.

You believe in a fictional character, that's a good flag to fly so people will know they don't need to exchange words with you.
