Another Legends 3 Trailer Surfaces

More gameplay, more music, and a few snippets of spoken dialog await you in a second Legends 3 trailer recently put up by Capcom Japan only moments ago:

To reiterate, all of today's footage comes from Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version. MML3PV is but a work-in-progress sampling of the long-awaited sequel; as such, what you see here may change in the final product. Prototype Version will launch in May with the release of the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Coinciding with the trailer's release, two new Devroom reports: Voice Recording Report Part 5 and Eguchi's commentary on the 'Big Announcement.' Do check them out when you get a chance as they contain new details into the identity of series new comer Barrett!

  1. It seems appropriate that Megaman is stuck on the Moon, so the text is in Moon Runes.

  3. "Furthermore, the heat and excitement surrounding this downloadable title would determine whether or not the full game could be greenlit. If hype is strong, the full title will be a go. If not, it’s a no-go. I don’t even want to think about that outcome!"

Ill buy the prototype, take my money now!

  4. Protodude, it may be appropriate to emphasize the fact that Eguchi stated that without a large amount of fan support and interest in the prototype, Legends 3 may very well not even be greenlit. Essentially, this prototype will likely be awesome and amazing, but if fans don't go out and buy it and show Capcom that there is demand for Legends 3, it's going to be the last we see of it.

  6. Im sorry to say that all my hopes have been close to crushed, the graphics and play seem incredible but..They have not showed a single screen when you play as megaman, and they put so much effort in this new guy. I maby could get by if you played him like 1-2 missions..maby. they whole game seems to be about this guy getting in the way for the bones and and roll to get what they need for the rocket and that mean there wont be much of playing megaman if you play him at all. im sorry to say but tis is not at all what I wantet. the concept would be ok if like the first thing was getting megaman and this guy hlped out and then you never play him again. I thought this game was about the lore wich was very good in mml1-2.like Megaman dealing with is "old buddies" waking up in the now reactivating ruins all over the world. I strongley deut that Keiji Inafune would get by this if he was still in the company. If my fears are true wich i think are now and it gets greenlit Id rather be without it. Its not worthy of the greatness of the other two games if this is how the game turns out. sure graphics and gamplay look awsome but they take away what connected them with the lore and story. no thanx!

  9. The title cards remind me of Evangelion. On topic, it looks freaking awesome, I can't believe how good the graphics have gotten for DS platforms.

Jeez, it's just a prototype. Obviously, Trigger will be playable in the final version, he's the hero of the series.

    He's on the Moon.
Have you seen the moon before?
    It's not very exciting.
