So apparently Bass mode is going to be so easy it's going to be as if you're using Game Genie to play. He's so broken! (Unless he takes triple damage or something, haha.)Looking forward to kicking some arse with him, though. =0)
yeah I agree seems to easy. and i kinda dislike te treble merge. It was at its best in mm7, in fact Bass was at is best in mm7. dont like how they have canged him over the years.
Yeah, it's about time he came back.
Yeah, he looks pretty overpowered, unelss there's some invisible draw back, like Blues' double damage. I thought he might not be able to move while shooting which might seem awkward enough to still have a reason to use Rock. But apparently he DOESN'T stop moving. Oh well, this is why I'm saving Hard Mode for him!
better than protoman mode that makes it twice as hard. His shield only works if you're jumping and not shooting, his charge shot isn't that powerful and he takes like double damage.
I simply cannot WAIT until the Bass Mode downloadable content is released. I've been waiting for this for a LONG time, and I'm sure lots of people know by now how disappointed I was that it wasn't included in Mega Man 9.
JDAManson -You know what? Looking at the video more, I actually DON'T think Bass can move while shooting. Looks like they kept that weakness intact, which would be a good thing (so as to keep Bass balanced).I know it isn't confirmation, but watch the video again. The only time we see Bass shooting while moving (other than when using Treble Boost, which he could do back in MM&B as well) is when he's *sliding across the ice in Chill Man's stage, shooting while in his standing pose*.Again, it's not a sure thing, but this video does not once show Bass shooting while running. He always stops before shooting. Just something to consider.
Oh damn, I also just noticed... the trailer doesn't make it obvious, but it appears Bass' shots still cannot travel through walls -- look for it and you'll see what I mean (the ceilings in Nitro Man's stage mainly). The exception is, again, when he's in Treble Boost mode.If I'm right, it looks like they kept all of Bass' weaknesses from MM&B intact for MM 10. I'm very happy to see this -- he should be balanced with Mega Man.
Wow it looks like playing as Bass is going to be AWESOME!!!I cant wait
Man Bass is overpowered!! this makes Mega Man and Proto Man seem so pathetic, i cannot wait to play as him.
Aaaaww sweet, official 8-bit theme.
If they have kept the way Bass shoots for the regular enemies, how many wanna bet the bosses will be harder to beat with Bass than with Megaman or Protoman like in MM&B? Think how many have the pattern that requires shooting while running and consider it takes half a second to stop then shoot and tell me you don't have a bad feeling about this.
I AM VERY HAPPY! /heavyweaponsguyCan't wait to get my mitts on him. He looks like fun. Although I'm not going to spam the crap out of the dash like the video. >_>
Cool, I wish we could hear the full version of his 8-bit theme.
Awesome, Bass=Badassand i think you can hear his 8bit theme in reggae shop.
If Bass can destroy shields he can destroy helmets too from the mets hmmm.... hope it would happen :)
Seems like he can't double-jump. Other than that, it looks like he plays exactly the same as in Mega Man & Bass. It's great that they brought back his theme, though!

Yay more character more fun for Megaman lets rejoice....
Rocking Robots thats Awesome Bass is Rocking Megaman 10 I wonder why his not playable or being a boss in Megaman 9?....
I'm still wondering why he'd fight against Wily.. Anyone?
Just a theory but, it's possible that bass might not even be able to use special weapons aside from his merge with treble. That might be the thing that keeps him in "Balance" but again it's just a theory.
@MMXU:Sorry dude but you are just wrong:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wJtFvxZB1k@Roy L.: Probably he is fighting against Wily for the same reason as always, to prove he is stronger than his robot masters.
Look (and listen) carefully, especially when Bass takes out those dividing square enemies. They normally take one shot to take out, but Bass needs two. Of course, Bass also has rapid-fire, but if his main buster does half damage and also won't go through walls, that seems to be how they're balancing that out.
