Four New Worlds Collide Covers Unveiled

Are you appetites whet for Worlds Collide, Archie's Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog crossover? If not, I suggest you get yourself over to IGN for a nice interview with Ian Flynn and Paul Kaminski. While your there, do check out the four new covers by Patrick “Spaz” Spaziante. Actually, make that three covers; I've included one of them here-- the amazing gatefold cover for the special 25th issue of Mega Man.

  1. You know shits going down when Light looks like the way he does in that image.

  2. I can't help but wonder how they're going to address the Bass paradox. It was entirely plausable that Megaman would meet Dr. Cossack and Pharoahman "earlier than scheduled", but it's been established that Rock and Light have no idea who Bass and Treble are in the 7th game. X3

  4. @Joseph: I think they've already stated this is not canon. Meaning we're getting a taste of Bass and they'll probably judge the reaction to his character and personality to flesh it out before he actually debuts. Besides, there's no guarantee they'll follow 7 and 8 to that degree when they finally get there.

  5. @Joe

You don't mind if I call you Joe do you?

Anyways various interviews in the past basically flat out said "time travel".

Wily makes a dubious comment in Issue 20 about using the Time Skimmer feeling like something he did before and that issue is set after the present comics.

  8. ... Wow. A huge splash panel with a lot of well known characters on both sides, and Shadow isn't even there at all.

    Strange.

Either way, the artwork is still awesome. Can't wait for the first issue!

  11. Shadow was in promo material...it's weird Silver's on that cover and not him. Shadow vs Bass just seems so obvious. Not just being "dark" versions of the heroes, but Shadow is an anti-hero and Bass is kind of an anti-villian.
