First Pachislot Rockman Ability Trailer

The official Pachislot Rockman Ability website has launched and it includes a debut trailer with plenty of action and a catchy Jpop song. Check it out above!

As for the site itself, it features a plot synopsis and a complete list of characters from Rockman and the new female Dr.Light to Dr. Wily and his rowdy crew of pachislot-themed Robot Masters. I'll have a story translation up soon – stay tuned!

Thanks to @enterlion777 for the tip!

    2. Slot machines these days are really simple video games anyways. It'll probably do really well honestly.

    3. You'd be surprised how many machines exist with plots. There's a Game of Thrones one my mom plays a lot when she going with my grandma.

  2. Makes me wish that they put all that modeling an animation ability to something other than Japanese gambling.

  3. Since Sentinel is milking the line. I hope they try this design as well.

  4. I can't understand why so much effort and so many resources are being put into this... THING. This could've been a successor to the Mega Man franchise with a whole new plot, gameplay style and more! The animation is way better than Fully Charged, and... I really hate to say this, but it has a higher quality of appearance than Mega Man 11. It has that 'new game hype' look to it. The only reason I'm not hyped at all, is because it's all for a stupid gambling machine!

Can you imagine if they combined all these resources into Mega Man 11 instead? I mean, 11 is good and I like it a lot, but admittedly it's lacking something.

    1. The animation is not way better than Fully Charged based on this trailer, quit hating and or being ignorant.

    2. Also graphically this just looks like a less stylized version of X7 and X8 cutscenes. Looks like moving globs of cel shading with metallic overlays, no thanks to that for Mega Man 11 gameplay visuals.

    3. Cool your jets, pal. No need to resort to that type of speech over a video game. We don't need anymore of that here. Anyway, look again at my comment. I never said anything bad about Fully Charged. I said it looks way better than that show, which is my opinion. That doesn't mean the other has to be hated. As a matter of fact, I've even said I think Fully Charged's Mega Man ruining animation is better than what's seen in Mega Man 11. There's room to like many things in the franchise, and you don't have to hate the others in order to prefer something. If what you get from my previous comment is "hate", then please stop trying to read between the lines and look for things that do not exist. There is no hate, plain and simple.

I'll respect your opinion, but I ask that in the future you do not generalize my opinion or anyone else's, especially when it is only an opinion that differs from yours.

    4. "The animation is way better than Fully Charged"
Absolutely. But that's because Fully Charged looks awful.

"it has a higher quality of appearance than Mega Man 11."
      Gods no.
This looks fairly good, but it's not even REMOTELY as good looking as MegaMan 11.
MegaMan 11 is alarmingly close to perfect.

  5. That's a pretty neat animation. Pachinko must be serious buisness in Japan.

  6. That's way too much effort/trailer for a friggin' slot machine.

  7. Somewhere in Japan, at Konami HQ, a man sheds a single tear in admiration.

  9. It is rather surprising how much effort goes into pachinko/pachislots machines, but it's also surprising how much money they make. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachinko#Franchises

  10. Once again roll is a completely useless damsel. I mean is it me or is every female lead in megaman useless?

  11. So out of anything they could make this into.. They chose Konami's grave.. They could've just made this an anime or a video game but all of the effort is wasted on a god damm pachinko machine.
