I have Joveth to thank for the blog's swinging success in recent years. Because of him, some of my posts have been featured over at Capcom Unity, front page. Further, Joveth is also responsible for past giveaways such as Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 download codes. Oh, and the mastermind behind last year's wicked April Fool's joke.
Joveth is THE Mega Man guy at Capcom US. He's an avid fan of the series and it truly shows. His genuine passion for the Blue Bomber has led to all kinds of opportunities -- in fact, we may have him to thank for the likes of Mega Man Legends 3.
So here's to you, friend. Thank you so very very much for all your support over these last few years. It's been an excellent journey, and I wish you all the best for whatever life has in store for you. Keep in touch!

The Moblin's Mega Man 9 and 10 secrets? Are they even real?
Sad news indeed. Each time something like this happens, in my mind it's a blow to the Mega Man franchise as a whole. I hope we can get things back on track soon. :/

Bah, that's too bad. Why would anyone leave an awesome job like that at Capcom? I'd love to be in his role.
I met Joveth twice, at PAX in 2009 and 2010. He's a great guy, and he remembered me the second year. Great with people (as you'd expect from a community leader). As I saw more of him though, it seemed like he was getting a little jaded, probably from annoying fans - which you can't blame cause there are so many idiots. Still.. I've never seen Seth irritated like that, for example.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I really wish he wasn't leaving, but oh well. Hope he does well. And that we get someone even better to take his place at Unity.

You make it seem like these guys leaving is a bad thing. There's only so far any person can stick with one company - especially if you're a key player in it. Fuck my dad wouldn't be where he was if he stuck around at his very first job, and now he's raking in the moolah. Change is the best thing that could happen to Gonzo, to everyone who left capcom.
Also, Protodude, Was that MM10 and MM9 secret thing ever solved?
