Mega Man X DiVE Official English Version Now Available

More than a year after the initial Taiwan version and nine months apart from its Japanese counterpart, Rockman X DiVE has finally touched down on Western shores.

Rechristened as Mega Man X DiVE, the game is available to download in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland for Android and Apple devices. The title will slowly reach other regions with additional languages to come such as Spanish, French and Portuguese, to name a few.

You can download the game through your phone's app store or via Google Play or the Apple App Store.

So here we are -- the day has come at last. Enjoy!

  1. Downloaded it last night, tried to play it this morning, and I found out that they do server maintenance on Monday mornings. D'oh.

Here's a weird thing, though. Straight from a download, the current version reads as follows:
    "Ver.dev (Source.1007964.5.09.0000.5.3)"

I wonder if that means something. As I said, this is straight off a fresh, midnight download. I'm sure the version will change to a more logical number the instant I actually try and play the game. Gotta love those mandatory in-app only updates that waste your time… (Looking at you, Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos.)

    1. Found out something kinda depressing. I thought, perhaps, that I could configure Mega Man X DiVE to use my keyboard since I don't have a Bluetooth controller for my iPad. While it does recognize and let you bind buttons… if you press more than one button at the same time, the game tends to completely drop all inputs. This effectively makes it impossible to play with a keyboard.

On the other hand, this version of Mega Man X DiVE, for whatever reason, still has the old version of Swimsuit Roll. For how long, I have no idea. But, that's certain something of interest to people like me.

  2. This is probably a silly question, but can you move your Taiwanese Rockman X Dive account to the English version?

  3. I was playing the beta, and am disappointed to learn not only did I lose everything in the launch including Iris and Roll, but there wasn't even some small bonus for beta testers.
