Rockman 5 Hits Japanese eShop Next Week

The title pretty much says it all, really. According to Nintendo Japan, Rockman 5 is slated to hit the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console next week, November 15th for 500 Yen.

No word yet on the possibility of a North American/European release. Then again, we're still waiting for Mega Man 1 and Mega Man 2. And Mega Man 3... and Mega Man 4.

Thanks for the tip, RockX!

  1. that's nice, what about north america? were getting bottom of the food chain when it comes to the 3ds virtual console in america. I'll probably just buy the ps1 versions off of the playstation store instead.

  4. Anon 2, those games aren't available on the 3DS' VC, as they are not Famicom/Arcade/GB/GBC games.

  5. @Anonymous 2,

Those could be possibly for Wii U. I want Rockman 6, 7, X3, and Rockman & Forte on Wii first!

  6. Megaman 8, X4, X5 and X6 will probably just stay on the PSN because they were not directly launched on a Nintendo plataform, the only way they got on a Nintendo Console was with the Gamecube release of Anniversary Collection and MMX Collection, so, for those to appear on eShop or Wii U VC is.. well, almost impossible.
