D-Arts Zero Type 2 Due This Summer

Bandai has unveiled a small helping of delicious promo images for Zero Type 2. Along with the additional gold trim and boxed shoulder guards, Zero will come with his trusty Z-Saber and Z-Buster. Additional accessories have yet to be detailed, but we do know that the Z-Saber will have multiple interchangeable beam parts. By and large, this is the D-Arts Zero you've been waiting for!

Type 2 is due for release in May in Japan for 3500 Yen (roughly $45), followed by a U.S release in June courtesy of Bluefin Tamashii.

  5. I was actually really glad they made the X1 Zero, since no one else had done a figure of it yet.

  6. I wonder if that means they'll cross that candidate off their Facebook poll and bring up the 8th place one instead?

  12. @Anonymous asking of X8 and Legends

Hmm... X8, nope! Or perhaps maybe a long time from now. But I doubt it since X8 doesn't even exist in the X series. But Legends maybe since people have been voting for it in that recent poll for the next D-Arts figure to be.

  13. Does he come with interchangeable battle damaged pieces so he can die and comeback and die and comeback and die and comeback just like in the games?

  14. @ Anon:

    The hell you talking about.

X8 sure as hell exists in the X series. All because you dont like it doesnt mean its not there.

X6's zero ending takes place after the X series.

  15. Got that X4 and X3 pose goin. Dunno if the third one is anything, but for some reason it reminds me of MvC3.

I never said I didn't like it, where did you get that from what I wrote????? You can't read?! LOL!!!
But nope X7, X8 and Command mission never happened according to Capcom officials. Theyre just made for money basically. Google "Mega Man X7, X8 and Command Mission Never Happened?" and wiki X5 and X6 and theres facts about that X5 was supposed to be the last X game as Keiji Inafune wrote the story to be but Capcom basically went behind his back and rushed and made X6.
And nope, X6 happens right after X5, 3 weeks after the colony crashed and the virus spreads and such which is why everything is hard and confusing in chaos in X6.
And the X series ends in X6 with Zero's ending which leads to the Zero series.
What the hell am I talking about you ask, shoot, what the hell you didn't know and you played the games?! is more like it! LOL!!!

  17. @Anon 11:

lol maybe you should do your research more thoroughly before making comments like that. No where did Capcom ever retcon X6~X8 and CM. And even though KI planned X5 to be the last one, doesn't mean suddenly X6 and beyond never happened. In fact, Zero 1's story was altered to coincide with X6, a game which he himself produced with Inti.

Mega Man X is a series made by Capcom, not just Keiji Inafune. Each game was made from the vision of many artists, not one man. And despite their flaws and plot holes, until Capcom themselves retcon those games, they happened.

And just by the way, Inafune didn't contribute much to the X series after the first game. Sure he was an artist for the SNES games, but by the time X5 rolled around (not even X6), the most he did was probably supervise it, and even that he might've not done. Even in MMXOCW, Inafune admitted that the X series he pretty much left his successors to do so he wouldn't have to hold their hands all the time. So stop acting like the X series was planned out by one man alone.

The anon person didn't say X6 doesn't exist, he said X7, X8, and CM didn't exist. People these days can't read, seriously!
But Capcom did make a timeline of the X series, and there's no X7, X8, or CM in it. And if I remember Capcom did say they created those games for profit. And there's proof and facts of X5 was supposed to be the last X game but X6 was done right after X5 so X6 is the last game of the X series. Which makes sense of Zero's ending in X6 and leads to the Zero series. And which makes sense to of Capcom secretly killing of Megaman as it seems since it's all done.

    Take a look:
    http://www.rockmancorner.com/2010/04/mega-man-x7-x8-and-command-mission.html?m=0

First of all, I only included X6 because the controversy typically started there, not X7. Secondly, a timeline not including X6~X8/CM does not mean they're retconned. Here are the reasons why:

    1) Unless Capcom themselves specifically say they don't exist, you can't pretend they didn't happen. Capcom neglecting to include them on one timeline on a website doesn't mean that's the end all be all. Which leads to my second point:

    2) That timeline, IIRC, was made for Zero Collection, so if anything, they only mentioned the extremely relevant titles. Also, Inti Creates has been known to have a "different" interpretation of the events in the series, hence why there's no appearances or mention of Axl, only a reference through ZXA. For example, according to Inti, they speculate that the "Sigma Virus" was a flaw that originated with X's Suffering Circuit. On the other hand, the X series makes it extremely obvious that the Virus originated with Zero, the original carrier, but somehow passed onto Sigma.

And I know this doesn't really concern this specific argument, I just want to add that Inti screwed up their own timeline with Zero 1 and Zero 2, NOT X6. So you really can't act like Inti makes all the calls on the series when they clearly are not completely bulletproof.

  20. Oh yea, I forgot to say, but Flame already mentioned:

X6's Zero ending is understood to be AFTER the X series, not directly after X6. That doesn't magically cut off later entries.

  21. Holy shit, reservations for it are already gone on Ami Ami and Hobby Search. This is some seriously bad news for non American/Japanese fans

  22. X7 and X8 are up for debate, but it was confirmed that Command Mission isn't part of the main timeline.

Personally I think Zero's X6 ending (and X's end without Zero) leads to the Zero series, while X's ending (finding Zero) goes to X7.

Why there is no mention to Axl in the Zero and ZX series besides the Albert's "tribute"? He is a main character! (But except for Sigma and Magnion's cameos, there is also no mention to Cain, Alia, Signas,... Cain actually vanished in X4!) Comparing Axl with Model A is like comparing Mega Man with Mega Man Volnutt, Roll with Roll Caskett, and the original/EXE counterparts. They may be related (Reincarnation? (Spiritus Ex Machina) Different dimension? (Zoano GutsMan) ) or not (coincidence? BeastMan/SlashMan). Albert create the transformation ability from the Zero-ZX timeline, while the creator from the X series is unknown and became common technology in X8 with the new gen 'loids.

  23. True, I think a dev actually admitted CM being noncanon. In either case, as a spin-off, it holds little bearing to the series anyways.

The possibility of a split timeline? It could happen, and such an existence would be convenient for whoever hates Axl/the later titles. But as it is, a split timeline is merely a possibility and, until then, X7 and X8 occurred before Zero 1 (and of course, X6 Zero ending).

  25. I like Axl and X8, but this doesn't mean they are part of the Zero series.

    X8 ending:
    (...)
However, with the development of space in full swing, the demand for these advanced new generation Reploids had not dwindled.
Years later, production in copy chips once again resumed despite the advice on those who had studied their history...

Why there is no copy ability before ZXA? What happened with the new gen Reploids? Does it happen between the ZX and Legends series? And Earth is quite well after it was wasted by Eurasia and the Sigma Virus in X5, taking less than 90 years (21XX) to recover and have big cities with several flying cars and bikes. Meanwhile in MMZ4 the area Eurasia crashed was surprisingly recovering, apparently not from the Elf Wars due to dialogue, and even after the Elf Wars Earth is still damaged but recovering slowly.

Did the technology advanced in different ways and Earth recovered in a different time in the 2 timelines?
