E-Capcom Rockman 30th Anniversary Artbook & Artwork Revealed

This evening Rockman 11 producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya announced on Twitter that the E-Capcom store in Japan will be selling a brand-new Rockman 30th Anniversary art book as well as framed art pieces.

The book itself is 32-pages and contains some artwork we've seen before as both phone wallpapers from the Rockman Unity app and more recently at the Rockman Goods Festa as postcards which we reported on earlier in the month. However it will also contain some new material such as the Rockman X 25th anniversary piece which was shown off recently as well as a few pieces that were shown at Japan-exclusive events earlier in the year such as the villains collage piece by Keisuke Mizuno shown above.

The book is currently up on E-Capcom store for 5,184 Yen ($46.92/€41.14 before shipping) and also comes with a Rockman tote bag. Do note that E-Capcom do not ship outside of Japan; you can, however, check Nin-Nin Game for imported stock. Keep an eye out!

If you have a favorite piece and would like one to decorate your room E-Capcom are also offering acrylic framed versions for 12,830 Yen each ($116.14/€101.84) it is noted that these are very limited! Below are the art pieces available. You can find these on the store here

Both the artbook & the acrylic art are due to ship in March 2019, here are some additional images of the artwork included in the book.

  3. I see they pussied out again and changed Cinnamon's red cross for a blue one. Lame, Capcom just stick with the red cross.

    1. It's very possibly a legal thing. They don't want trouble from Red Cross like tons of other companies have run into. Most modern re-releases of Doom have changed the icon on the health packs from a red cross to a pill, for instance. Can't really blame Capcom, personally.

  7. $46.92? And that's without shipping! For 32 pages, with at least half of it being art we've seen in other collections and Rockman Unity?

  8. So expensive... I was close to ordering the X acrylic art but regretted it at the last minute because I can't really afford it right now. I could if it gets billed on the release date but I don't see info about that. Does anybody know if the money will get charged on the release date? or immediately?

    1. Once they have the item available, you are immediately charged. It is possible for release dates to be pushed further if there is a delay, but that's not common if there's a set date.

  9. Nearly 50 bucks for artwork we have already seen and can be easily seen online? No thanks.
