"Mega Man Figural Keyrings" Hitting Retailers

We've known about these little guys since May, and it sounds like they're starting to pop up in the U.S. According to Rockman Corner readers Jimb0, RockMax, and Derek, individual blind packages of Mega Man Figural Keyrings have been spotted at Target and Walmart in Washington, California, and Michigan, respectively. Characters include Mega Man, Rush, Dr. Wily, Guts Man, Cut Man, Elec Man, Ice Man, Fire Man, Bomb Man, Roll, and Proto Man.

A few online retailers are loading up on these guys as well. Toywiz, Box Lunch, and eStar Land to name a few. Distribution is relatively new so we'll definitely be seeing these figures pop up elsewhere, too. Either way, these might make decent stocking suffers!

Thanks for the tip, fellas!

New Episodes of "The Fully Charged Podcast" Are Here

The Fully Charged Podcast, my crossover show with The Mega Man Network's LBD "Nytetrayn", is back in action! It took us some time but we're finally caught up to where the Cartoon Network app left off. You can listen to Episodes 14~16 here, Episodes 17 & 18 here, and Episodes 19 & 20 here! (the latter covers the exceptional "Lightfall" episodes)

With that out of the way, we have a question for our listeners. Both Mega Man Fully Charged and The Fully Charged Podcast are indeed poised to continue. However, we're facing a bit of a "viewing" quandary. In Canada, LBD is able to watch NEW Fully Charged episodes on Family CHRGD. Here in the states, however, the Cartoon Network app has stopped adding new episodes.

So here's your question (as worded by LBD): "do you want us to figure something out (which we already have, so no suggestions needed) so that we more closely follow the Canadian airing of new episodes (meaning we’d have some catching up to do)? Or would you rather we find something else to do in the meantime, and post our new episodes relating to the new cartoon episodes after they air in the States?"

The tl;dr: Do you want us to record new episodes as additional Fully Charged episodes air in Canada, or stick and wait for the U.S to catch up?

So yeah, you can let us know in the comments or one of our many social media profiles we promote at the end of each podcast. We look forward to hearing from you!

Denuvo Removed From Mega Man 11 on PC

DSOGaming reports that the PC version of Mega Man 11 version is now 100% Denuvo-free. The controversial anti-tamper technology was removed from Mega Man 11 earlier this week in response to the game being cracked by CODEX.

In the PC gaming community, Denuvo is largely scrutinized for anti-consumer practices and a myriad of performance issues. Yet despite complaints, publishers continue to turn to Denuvo to deter piracy. This in turn fuels the cracking scene to, well, get crackin'. At that point there really is no reason to keep Denuvo implementation around, so it's removed.

If Denuvo was keeping you from picking up Mega Man 11 on PC, there's no time like the present to snag it up! And look at that – it's 20% off for Black Friday!

Mega Man 11 Soundtrack "Coming to a Variety of Digital Platforms Soon"

Hot on the heels of the album's physical release in Japan this week, the official Mega Man Twitter has announced that the Mega Man 11 Original Soundtrack will arrive on a variety of digital platforms soon. Capcom didn't exactly say where you'll be rocking out to these tunes, though. If past digital OSTs are any indication, we could see it on iTunes, Spotify and Steam. (yes, Steam) Additional details are forthcoming.

For the uninitiated, the OST contains not only the entire Mega Man 11 score but several arranged pieces that are completely different from the "Wily Numbers" pre-order DLC tracks. You can listen to a few samples from these new pieces here. A brand-new, original vocal theme song called ["RM11"] sung by Mega Man's Japanese voice actor, Ayaka Fukuhara, is also included.

More news on this front soon. Stay tuned!

Capcom to Close Off 30th Anniversary With "Rockman Goods Festa"

Rockman's 30th anniversary is winding down and Capcom intend to close it off in style. The house that built the blue bomber has announced the "Rockman 30th Anniversay Goods Festa", an event planned to take place in 13 different stores across Japan and the Hanayashiki Park (where Rockman Unite Final is happening).

At the Good Festa, fans can buy new and exclusive Rockman items and visit a mini museum with artwork from the entire franchise. There's even some unseen material from Rockman 11. The mini museum will reportedly be different in each shop so it's recommendable to visit as many stores as possible!

More information and images of the items on sale after the break!

Rockman X & Army Men Strike Collaboration Announced in Japan

To commemorate Rockman X's 25th anniversary, Capcom have announced a totally random, yet interesting collaboration with mobile strategy game Army Men Strike.

Starting today and lasting through December 14th, players can collect fragments to build a toy solider version of X. Once all pieces are found (or bought from the in-game store), you can recruit X as an officer to join you on the battlefield. A special, rare variant dubbed "Firewave X" can also be assembled.

Although Army Men Strike is available in most regions, this collaboration has only been confirmed for Japan. I'll keep ya posted should anything change.

Mega Man Soccer Hack Restores Missing Endings and Playable Dr. Wily

It's no secret that Mega Man Soccer was sold as an unfinished game. Several features were dummied out of the final version – most notoriously, the game's ending cutscenes and the ability to play as Dr. Wily. And now, thanks to a fellow named "Q", we can finally enjoy Mega Man Soccer as originally intended.

Mega Man 11 Nominated for "Best Action Game" by The Game Awards 2018

The nominees for this year's Video Game Awards have been revealed and Mega Man 11 is up for "Best Action Game". It looks like our blue boy is up against some heavy-hitters: Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Dead Cells, Destiny 2: Forsaken, and Far Cry 5 are all running against Mega Man 11 for the title.

You can vote for Mega Man 11 on the website or The Game Awards' official Discord server here. According to the FAQ, "You may vote by clicking on one of the voting channels and interacting with the corresponding reaction at the bottom of each category. Upon voting, you will have access to a confirmation channel which serves as an indication that your vote has been cast. The bot will eventually remove your reaction, but rest assured, your vote has been successfully cast." Just a few clicks and you're in.

Good luck to Mega Man 11 and all the wonderful nominees! The Game Awards air on December 6th. Find out how and where to watch it here.

Mega Man 11 Was the 6th Most Downloaded Game on the NA eShop in October

Nintendo has revealed the top 30 most-downloaded Switch games in North America for October 2018. Mega Man 11 managed to chart at #6, just barely missing the top 5. Ahead of Mega Man 11 is Dark Souls: Remastered, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Overcooked 2, Super Mario Party, and Fortnite.

As for how many people actually downloaded Mega Man 11 on Switch in the region, well, that's up for speculation. We don't have any numbers behind these rankings. Based on what we've been seeing across the board, though, I'd wager US Switch digital sales are within the 10,000-80,000 ballpark.

Again, I should remind you that Mega Man 11 was more or less a smaller budget project for Capcom. Only their tent-pole releases are projected to sell millions of units (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, etc.). The forecast for Mega Man 11 is more than likely far below that, seeing that the game was developed by a team of 40, among other factors.

So yeah – I don't think there's really any cause for alarm here. The game is doing just fine. My only hope is Capcom will continue to promote it for many months to come.

Mega Man: Fully Charged is NOT Cancelled; New Episodes Airing in Canada

What's new on the Fully Charged front? A few things, actually.

First, new episodes began to air in Canada on Family Chrgd today, November 11th. Episode 21 "Rush to Greatness" and Episode 22 "Enter Namagem" made their network debut. Episode 23 "Minus Mini" premiers on Sunday, November 18th, at 8:30am. New episodes are also reportedly showing up on some Canadian DVR/on-demand services and the Family Chrgd app. If you're in the region, you might want to check up on that.

Second, despite the show being taken off of Cartoon Network's schedule in the U.S, Mega Man: Fully Charged itself isn't going anywhere. In response to concerns that the show was cancelled, writer Joe Kelly assures,"we are still very much in production." He goes on to say "I can’t say exactly when the new episodes will air, but they’re coming." (via Twitter) I also have it on good authority that Fully Charged staff remain unaffected from the schedule change at Cartoon Network. They're workin' hard on the show as we speak.

And finally, we have three new episodes of the Fully Charged Podcast! The latest batch covers Episodes 8 through 10. You can listen to 'em at The Mega Man Network or check us out on iTunes and Google Play. We have a good time making them and hope you enjoy listening to them!

Thanks to my buddy LBD_Nytetrayn for the tip!

Rockman 11 Official Soundtrack Arranged Sample Pieces

The Rockman 11 Official Soundtrack's second disc is home to several all-new arranged pieces, apparently. These are completely different from the DLC "Wily Numbers" tracks, and you can listen to a few samples in the video above (jump to 1:34).

Stylistically-speaking, each track is pretty different from one another. They're VERY different from the game's default soundtrack. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest!

The Rockman 11 official soundtrack goes on sale in Japan November 14th. Snag a pre-order from Play-Asia.

Rockman 11 Red Bull Collaboration Announced

Capcom and Red Bull Crashed Ice Yokohama have announced a special Rockman 11 collaboration to commemorate the franchise's 30th anniversary. I mean, excuse me?

First 4 Figures Teases New Mega Man 11 Statue

First 4 Figures has updated their Facebook page to give us a small glimpse of their latest Mega Man project: a Mega Man 11-style Mega Man statue. The final product will be made of PVC instead of the typical resin mold – that's *really* good news for your wallet.

Based on the lone image provided, it looks like the statue may be based on this official artwork, if not inspired by it.  The face certainly looks like a match

And yeah, that's about all that can be said for now! I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this guy soon. F4F's previous Mega Man products have been hit-or-miss in terms of design, in my opinion. However, this one looks very promising!

Mega Man Franchise Breaks 33 Million Sold; Up 1 Million Since Last Quarter

The Mega Man franchise continues to grow thanks to an additional million sales from last quarter. According to Capcom's updated Game Series Sales page, the franchise now sits at 33 million units worldwide. It's up by one million units since Q2 2018.

If last week's report is any indication, we can assume Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 contributed toward the bump. As stated by Capcom just last week, "Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 (for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC in all three cases) performed well thanks to a dedicated fan base and strong brand capabilities."

Do note, however, Mega Man X Legacy Collection did not achieve one million units – this according to the updated Platinum Titles list. Still, X Legacy Collection sold well enough to not only meet Capcom's expectations but bump things up to 33 million.

As for Mega Man 11, no data has been shared at this time. We'll probably know more towards the end of this quarter.

A Short Mega Man 11 Post-Launch Interview with Producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya

To commemorate Mega Man 11's one-month anniversary, I had the chance to ask the game's producer, Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, a few of your burning questions. It's short, sweet and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity.

Before you read ahead, do note that at least one question contains spoilers. Steer clear if you haven't beaten the game!

How to Pre-Order the Mega Man 11 3-Pack Figure Set

After a little investigating, it turns out you actually can pre-order the Jakks Pacific Mega Man 11 3-pack set right now.

Following a little back and forth conversation on Twitter, Rockman Corner reader "S" was given the following GameStop SKU for the product: 167866. Searching for this SKU on GameStop's website does nothing. However, if you go to your local GameStop and give this number over the counter, they'll hook you up with a pre-order. The 3-pack is reportedly an in-store exclusive, listed for $14.99 with a November 13th, 2018 release date.

If you need proof this actually works, look no further than "S"'s receipt here. (the price is after tax) It's probably a good idea to act on this soon – there's no telling just how limited this release will be.

Let us know your results in the comments!

Dr. Wily Assist Trophy Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Among the myriad of announcements in today's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct, Dr. Wily, the mad genius himself, will be making an in-game appearance in the form of an assist trophy! He cruises around in the Wily Capsule from Mega Man 7 and, if defeated, he busts out a trademark grovel.

But wait! There's a little bit more...
