New Mega Man Action Figures Announced by Funko

Just in time for the holidays, Funko (of Pop! Vinyl fame) have announced a brand-new line of classic series action figures due in December:

"Battle the nefarious Dr. Wily and his Robot Masters with four colorful Mega Man action figures. Choose between Mega Man in his traditional blue armor, Thunder Beam Mega Man, and Leaf Shield Mega Man which boasts an Atomic Fire Chase variant with a 1/6 rarity. You can also pick up Mega Man’s nemesis, Dr. Wily, to reenact their iconic confrontations.
Embodying courage, a passion for justice, and restraint when dealing with his enemies, Mega Man is a credit to his creators, Dr. Light and Capcom. The Blue Bomber can serve as a selfless role model to your other figures."

 More images after the break!

No word yet on price or availability but, hey, sounds like these little guys will make good stocking stuffers. Funko didn't mention just how small they are but I'd wager 2 or 4-inches.

More updates as they come!

  1. I see they've gone from soul-stealing abyss eyes to Dreamworks face.

    1. I'll take that over the soul-stealing gaze any time.

  2. They don't look like they have much articulation, but they're easily the best thing to come out of Funko's Mega Man license.

    1. I beg to differ, we got the rush funko, that one is the best.

    2. i agree, i like the funk-rush.

  3. I hate it when Mega Man action figure lines are announced, and almost always open up with Mega Man recolors. About as artistically interesting as opening up a Photoshop filter. I'd say at least Wily's there, but since he's not even in a machine, his presence doesn't strike me as too valuable an asset.

    1. Same. Would it kill people to make robot masters more often?

    2. What do you mean by kill, like go hungry and die? Like be out of a job and lose money and being poor and junk? Maybe.

    3. Megamn figure: can be at least marginally interesting with anyone who have a little video-game interest (and who does'nt nowadays), or people who grew up on the NES era.
Robot master: interesting only for us die-hard megaman fan.
Note that i'm not trying to be sarcastic (i apologize if i sound like i did), and i would love to have figure for the robot master or even the Maverick bosses, but i get why buisnesses won't take that risk. they just can't afford it.

  5. I could never stand Funkos. They’re awkward to display out of the box(which is my preference), as they fall over, and they just look ugly to me. I caved and got the cereal. Those sized funkos are more tolerable. I just hope they keep a line going so they can make Robot Masters. Loyal Subjects was just scraping the edge with Skull Man and Cut Man. Hopefully they can make more, too.

    1. I'm guessing these might be Megablox size. Like no more than two inch figures. That would be fine.

    2. The fact that they are $10.99 means they will be around 4-5 inch figures. If they were 2 inches they would of cost less

    3. Where did the price get listed?
Those MegaBlox things are over 5. So, it's not impossible.

I would like to know more about articulation.

    4. Apparently these are 3.75 inch as toyark has detailed

  7. How big are these anyway? If they fit the nel stuff the wily would be worth it alone.

  8. I wonder what it is about making Mega Man figures that so many of them come out with awkward looking faces.

Wily figure looks pretty good though.

  9. Interesting but I will pass.

  10. Why 4 Mega Mans and no Roll, Protoman or Dr. Light? Or even a Rush figure.

    1. here they simply have to do different coloring of the model they have, as oposed to design and manufacture 3 others model.
Less interesting for collectors, but less risky for them.

  11. Anybody got pre-orders? I missed out on the two-packs of 8-bit Mega Mans at GameStop entirely. I don't want that to happen again.
