"The Last Day of Sigma" - a "Maverick Hunter X: Giga Mission" Comic

It's been a little while since we last checked in with Maverick Hunter X: Giga Mission. The fan-game, spearheaded by Ácido Cinza, tightly grabbed the attention of the community with its flashy Mega Man Xtreme-inspired visuals, fast-paced gameplay and colorful original characters.

However, development has faced significant challenges in the face of the pandemic. While the dev team continue to grapple with that, Ácido and co. completed a Giga Mission comic called "The Last Day of Sigma."

Read on for details!

Mega Man: Fully Charged Trade Paperback Now Available

All six issues of Boom Studios' Mega Man: Fully Charged series are now available in one handy-dandy trade paperback. You can grab it from Amazon or wherever comics are sold for a cool $14.

For the uninitiated, the comic acted as a "spiritual second season". Taking place after the events of "The Gauntlet", the series focused on Mega Man (aka Aki Light) coming to terms with forgotten memories of The Hard Age. After Dr. Light is kidnapped by Dr. Wily (the *real* Dr. Wily, might I add), Mega Man sets off on a journey that tests his metal -- quite literally.

Even if you're not a fan of Fully Charged, I think you might enjoy the comic's strikingly dark, "grounded" take on the mythology. It's an interesting read, to say the least. No knowledge of the show is required. I mean, really, you can pretty much jump right in. It's fun to compare the two Fully Charged iterations, that's for sure, but you aren't missing any essential story beats.

Also, for those interested, we not only reviewed each issue but also had the opportunity to interview artist Stefano Simeone! Enjoy!

Rockman X DiVE's "Swimsuit Roll" to Receive a Design Change Next Week

"Swimsuit Roll" was a limited time Rockman X DiVE character, one that hasn't been seen since the Summer Carnival event on August 6th, 2020.

She was noticeably missing from the gacha banner released alongside the "Summer Vacation Lord of Snowy Plain" rerun on January 27, 2021. Said banner brought back Swimsuit Layer, Swimsuit Iris and Festive Zero as a bonus. However, Swimsuit Roll was missing.

Her absence wasn't addressed by the dev team before. Today, however, they shared a little about what the future holds for the character going forward. You can read their statement after the jump.

"Bad Box Art Mega Man" Stars in Latest "Rockman-chan" Chapter

Rockman-chan is back this week with chapter 6! And his usual shenanigans won't leave you any indifferent!

In this latest entry, we have Dr. Light playing air hockey, Roll transforming into "Roll Man", a Rock and Roll grocery shopping, and a very special guest -- Bad Box Art Mega Man!

What's more? This chapter shows us how Elec Man, Quick Man, Ice Man and Crash Man would look if they were drawn in the same style as Bad Box Art Mega Man! You can check it all out here!

It's worth mentioning, though, there's no English translation beyond the first chapter of "San and Chan", however. If you happen to read Spanish, you can read our friend Rockyou78's translation. It's up to date barring today's chapter!

Let us now how are you enjoying Rockman-chan so far in the comments!

Thanks for the tip, Will!
