Rockman EXE Manga Gets 15th Anniversary Reprint (Update)

To commemorate the Rockman EXE series' 15th anniversary, Fukkan will be reprinting Ryo Takamisaki's celebrated manga adaptation this summer. The original 13 volumes published between 2002-2006 will be condensed to eight "New Edition" volumes beginning July 3rd. New Edition Volume one is currently available to pre-order for 7,776 Yen (about $72 US) UPDATE: 1,944 Yen ($18).

According to the product page, each volume will sport new cover art by Takamisaki and bonus material (sketches, new art, etc.). No plans exist for an international release, nor would I count on Viz Media to revive the NT Warrior brand anytime soon. Gear up to import!

  1. I really enjoyed the EXE manga. The only issue I had with it was that the pacing was INSANELY fast. Like, having Mega Man gain two new forms in the SAME BATTLE fast.

  3. How forte was portrayed in the manga adaptation was one of my favorite portrayals he has ever gotten. It was very similar to the games but just had enough difference to make its great. Along with his backstory made him a solid character.

Glad I own both the Japanese and English verisons of this. Will be buying these as well just for extra stuff

  5. Nah, I will skip it. This is a waste money just for manga books.. Its annoying. I just want new Megaman games come back. I know I know. It might not happened but can't I keep my dream alive and one day who knows, huh ? :)

  6. Wow. If it's $72 per volume, that's expensive! I got my Japanese edition for around $9 each. I gave my English ed to my friend as a present

    2. Holy shhh..., the fact you reply to my exe-related comment (8 yrs later??) makes this "meeting" stalkingly creepy.

    3. I still lurk here from time to time. I'm just saying, drive by crap-posting a series over a period of time that's longer than the series has actually been alive is rather questionable.
