"Rewind" Added to Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 on PS4, Xbox One and PC

A new patch is available for Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One that adds the Rewind feature from the Nintendo Switch version. The feature allows players to hold down a button to turn back time. It comes in handy for beginners and rusty old-timers.

So yeah; update your game now! It's up!

    1. They promised this feature before Mega Man 11 came out, so it's about time that we got it. It's gonna be fun to abuse the heck out of it. Might also be a great learning tool.

  2. What..... No update for 3DS version??? I R disappointment..... Although, I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since 3DS is pretty much a dead handheld system. But yay for other users. Glad they get an update.

    1. To be fair, they never patched the 3DS version after it released. No fixing how badly the US games ran on it or anything. Just a crap solution of "play it in Japanese for a stable framerate".

    2. That was only the case with Mega Man 5; all the others ran just fine. However, that slowdown would still occur in the Challenge mode, regardless of the regional settings.

  3. "So yeah;"? Why is there no mention of the turbo mode that was also added in this patch, enabling you to play without the NES slowdowns? Also, the game's Steam achievements are broken at the moment.

  4. TURBO MODE isn't mentioned probably because Capcom doesn't want to draw any attention to the idea of something similar being added to X1-3. They'd much rather further the idea that you can't remove slowdown from these old games. Anyway, many applause to Digital Eclipse for adding Turbo Mode, not to mention patching it back to these old versions. I really am not in the financial position to buy any games right now, but I will finally buy this on Steam as absolutely soon as possible because they've set a great precedent by adding Turbo Mode.
