Blade Man Debuts in Rockman-san Chapter 22

After meeting Hornet Man and Plant Man and learning of the duo's popularity in the previous chapter, Rock and Roll pay a visit to the national museum.

There, a sword exhibit reminds Rock of his fight against Blade Man from Rockman 10. And surprisingly, Blade Man himself is part of the exhibit as his new job! Later on, the trio have some drinks at the "Robot Bar 8-bit" to go over Blade Man's life following the end of the war.

Check Out the Complete Rockman DASH: Great Adventure on 5 Islands! Longplay

As work continues to preserve the game itself, the crew at Get Me Off the Moon have been busy recovering direct-feed footage of Rockman DASH: Great Adventure on 5 Islands!.

The above longplay was recorded several years ago by a one Suzukaze. Until now, a significant portion of his run was missing. Thanks to a few members of the Mega Man Legends Station, they've recovered the entirety of Suzukaze's playthrough. You can now enjoy the full four and a half hour experience from start to finish. Yay!

We'll have more updates on the extraction and preservation of the game in due time. But do know that the team have been working very hard to get it in a playable state. Emulation remains the end goal.

Stay tuned!

Mega Man Battle Network Composer Akari Kaida Producing New GBA Chiptune Album

If you're a fan of Akira Kaida's work, you might be pleased to know that she's dipping her toes back into Mega Man Battle Network. A very little dip.

Kaida has announced a brand-new Game Boy Advance-inspired chiptune album called "Advanced Connection". It will feature five original tracks plus a new rendition of Be Somewhere, the theme song from Rockman EXE Stream. No samples were provided, but if you like that sweet GBA soundfont, you'll probably dig this. UPDATE: Samples!!

Of course, there's a bit of a caveat here. The album will only be distributed at Tokyo Game Music Show 2022. I'm sure we'll be able to listen to these pieces in some form eventually... but it'd be great to be able to support Kaida directly. Drop her a (respectful) tweet and let her know you wanna pitch in!

Hornet Man and Plant Man Debut in Rockman-san Chapter 21

Following the previous chapter where Rock and Roll prevented Yamato Man from committing seppuku, the latest  Rockman-san chapter features two more Robot Masters: Hornet Man and Plant Man. The two are in charge of a local greenhouse, believe it or not.

The duo seem to be very popular, too. Just like Wood Man in a previous chapter, they've been turned into merchandise. Acrylic stands and other memorabilia sold with their image!

You can check the chapter in Japanese here!
