Mega Man 2.5D Beta 3.0 Now Available for Download

It's been a short while since we last saw anything from Peter Sjostrand's Mega Man 2.5D fan-game. However, following a two part interview with The Mega Man Network, Peter has rolled out a new update for this much anticipated project.

Beta 3.0 adds a pair of new co-op stages and additional single player stages for Splash Woman and Quick Man. See it in action in the video above then download it at the game's official website here.

Thanks for the tip, QT!

  1. This looks great! Would something like this really be that hard to pull off, Capcom? It's been three years.

  2. I know this is a bit off topic, but I figured I should ask anyways. Is there any reason Azure Striker Gunvolt isn't being covered? Similar to how Mighty No. 9 is a spiritual successor to Classic Megaman done by Inafune, Azure Striker Gunvolt is the spiritual successor to Zero/ZX series, and is being done by Inti Creates. I found it odd that one got attention here and not the other...

    1. I covered this in another post. Unfortunately, it hasn't been easy covering Gunvolt. Unlike MN.09, I don't get regularly e-mail updates on the project. It is something I regret not being more diligent on. However, closer to release, there will be an all-in-one post.

    2. Well, it comes out in a couple weeks, so I look forward to it. It's nice how it has steam-pricing. Fifteen bucks... not bad at all.

  3. I'm most likely in the minority on this one, but I'm not very impressed with this.
