Preview Pages for Mega Man #30

Now that the Mega Man X dust has mostly settled, we can get back to the adventures of Mega Man, Cut Man, Guts Man and Bomb Man, who were last seen investigating the Lanfront Ruins. "Blackout: The Curse of Ra Moon" part 2 is the 30th issue of Mega Man, and you can check out a nice five-page preview over at Comic Vine.

Issue #30 goes on sale Wednesday, October 9th at newsstands and comic shops everywhere.

  1. Anyone STILL not get issue 29?... No just me? Okay...

    1. Call/email them, and tell them it hasn't shown up. They should send a replacement.

I've had to have both 29 and 28 replaced, because they never showed up. I thought the post office was losing them. If others are having the same problems, it makes me wonder if there's something borked on Archie's end.

  2. As with last month I wouldn't be so sure it'll be on time this month, subscribers have yet to receive their copies and they always get issues a week (or two) before retail.

  3. It was quietly delayed to 9/18 from its original 9/11 street date last month. It wasn't really publicized and you could still get it 9/11 digitally, but physical shipments were pushed back a week. No official word why.

    1. Not so quietly as you might think, the ad for it in issue 28 had the changed date.

Why Archie never told anybody else about the changed date, especially the guys doing the preview pages, is a mystery.

29's ad page said 30 should be out this Wednesday, but that's probably not happening.

    2. Interesting. I'll have to update the site.

    3. Just an update a delay is pretty much guaranteed again this month since it's not any of of the shipping lists for this week.

  4. I haven't read a single issue yet (waiting until there's a giant stack for me to enjoy), but dang, this current art is quite lacking.

  5. I agree. The scenes I am looking at are really bland. :/ Yes, I realize the artist is new and this is only the second issue he pencilled, but it's still underwhelming, especially compared to what I am used to seeing. He's not bad, but there are plenty of things he needs to improve on.
