We already knew Mega Man: Dual Override would be playable at Gamescom, but now fans watching from home have something to look forward to, too.
Xbox has announced that Mega Man: Dual Override will be featured during its Xbox @ Gamescom 2026 broadcast on August 26 at 10:00 AM Eastern. What exactly we'll see remains unknown. It could be a new trailer or perhaps even a live gameplay demonstration.
With the demo and Xbox broadcast both happening on August 26, it's shaping up to be a pretty busy day. We'll be keeping you posted as it all unfolds!
That’s one reason to watch an Xbox presentation
ReplyDeleteIdeally from this point on, all MM games would be multi-system like MM11 was. Definitely Steam for all of them vs having to emulate it on a new console after an emulator is created.
ReplyDeleteI plan to eventually in the future make pages dedicated to showcasing the Mega Man Dual Override Robot Master entries on Mega Man Wiki for preservation similar to the contest entries from Mega Man Legends 3, Neo Devroom and Tuttle's Legendary Travels. If anyone is interested in helping please let me know.
ReplyDeleteXbox is apparently just dying in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they feel the need to specify this? Almost like it's in order to relieve xbox users "don't worry guys you're getting this megaman too", where as in a couple of years back, this would just be a given, a no-brainer, right?
With this and the fact that other capcom titles like the MVC fighting collection two years back wasn't even ported to xbox initially, supports this theory. It was just steam, ps and switch.
Best case scenario, they may have a bit more leverage on Sony now because they're discontinuing physical discs for the ps5 and everyone is pissed? I dunno.
Eh, I think it’s just that Xbox has always underperformed in the Japanese market. Steam is an exception, but maybe it’s just that optimization and distribution is relatively inexpensive?
Deletei suppose so, and also i feel like western franchises are doing really poorly at the moment in comparison... Steam is unmatched in its resources, sales and practicality though. Everyone loves it for good reason, especially for how well it embraces the indie game market too.
DeleteYESSS
ReplyDeleteMega Man has almost like no ties with Xbox this is just strange...
ReplyDeleteHope we get some Robot Master reveals.
