Mega Man Mondo Squad Figures Announced

Mondo has secured the license to produce a new line of classic series Mega Man figures under its Mondo Squad banner, the company announced during its San Diego Comic-Con panel.

The initial wave will focus on members of the Light family, including Mega Man, Roll, Rush and... Tango! Yessir, Tango in the big 2027.

Mondo Squad figures are typically sold as a set and come with a variety of accessories. Additional details, including pricing, a specific release date and exactly what will be included, have yet to be announced.

    1. Well Jada makes action figures with articulation, Mondo Squad figures are statues with very limited posability

    2. Jada's pretty much done with Megaman.

  4. Are these gonna be articulated are the question? Even then I would get it for the dr light and others alone!

    1. Given its under the squad label, they'll be more like statues with swapable parts for changing how you can display them.

    2. I'll still get it for the light and others but, if it's small enough I wonder if roll can be modded and have joints added to her. She's static enough that people could get away with it provided she is the right size.

    3. Wouldn't it also depend if the plastic is solid or molded? I'd think it's harder to get joints in there if the plastic is solid, but I don't know how Mondo does things.

I'm kind of envious of anyone able to do that custom stuff. It seems to take a lot of time collecting hundreds of different sizes and types of joints. x.x

  6. I like that this has Light as well as TANGO of all things, so it's on my radar for sure at this point, but I'm curious about how posable they will be and all, since outside of Rock and Roll, the rest just kind of seem like solid plastic from that render at the moment with the poses and all they're using. Honestly, these invoke memories of the Ruby Spear mini figures I used to love as a kid, but I'm sure after peaking at Mondo's site to get an idea of prices and all, that these are going to be much larger in size.
