Rockman X Dive – Command Mission X Model and Artwork
The near-daily Rockman X Dive Facebook updates continue today with a sneak peek at Command Mission X. The image above is a work-in-progress 3D render. Although X's trademark "laser scarf" has yet to be fully implemented, everything is looking pretty faithful to the source material.
The Facebook page also published Keisuke Mizuno's artwork for Command Mission X. You can see what that looks like here or after the break below.

Additional Kotobukiya Max Armor and Hyper Armor Info
Hot on the heels of yesterday's big Wonder Festival reveal, Kotobukiya have added pre-order pages for both the Rockman X Max Armor and Hyper Armor model kits. The Hyper Armor is intended to be a Kotobukiya Online Store exclusive in Japan, but the Max Armor will be widely distributed. In fact, Ami Ami have follow suit with a pre-order page for the Max Armor. Additional listings from other retailers, such as Big Bad Toystore, are expected to appear in the coming days.
According to Kotobukiya's Online Store, the Max Armor will ship in December. The Hyper Armor kit will ship in January 2020 (the site says December but Koto said on Twitter that is a mistake). In terms of accessories, the Max Armor will include an optional face and Buster parts and a Z-Saber that actually lights up! The light-up effects require a MILIGHT 316 LED (sold separately). These are small LED lights manufactured by Hiromi Sangyo. Purchasing the Max Armor directly from Kotobukiya yields an exclusive Kaiser Sigma diorama display.
As for the Hyper Armor, it will ship with an optional face and Buster parts, a "Cross Charge Shot" special effect piece, and "dash" parts. The Z-Saber will not be included with the Hyper Armor but the completed kit will be fully capable of wielding it.
The Max Armor and Hyper Armor kits will retail for 7,480 yen or roughly$68.89. More images are available in the links above.

Kotobukiya Reveals Zero Model Kit, New X3 Hyper Armor and Max Armor Images
Wonder Festival is in full-swing and right out of the gate, Kotobukiya revealed a brand new X series model kit: the crimson crusader himself, Zero. Much like the X kit due in September, Zero is 1/12th scale. He is based on his X2~X7 incarnation. It's expected to ship with a Z-Saber and other unannounced accessories. No news yet on price or release date.
Kotobukiya also showed off colored versions of the Rockman X3 Hyper Armor and Max armor kits for the first time, too. You can see what those look like after the break!
Rockman X DiVE Gameplay – Zero and the "Auto Lock System" Demonstration
The official Rockman X DiVE Facebook Page uploaded a short clip to demonstrate the "Auto Lock System". In the clip we can see Zero at the top of a truck in the Central Highway Stage with the Auto Lock System activated.
Later on in the video, during the Energy Mine Ruins Stage segment, Zero is shown fighting with the Auto Lock deactivated against numerous enemies like the Ball De Voux Shot Type from Mega Man X7 and other classic enemies like the Spiky and Batton Bone. In other words, the Auto Lock System is entirely optional.
News about Rockman X DiVE keeps coming almost daily, and you can count on us to keep you informed along the way. Stay tuned!

Rockman X Dive – Character Select Menu Footage
A now-deleted video posted to Rockman X Dive's official website brings us a sneak peek at the initial character select menu. I've re-uploaded the footage above. And yes; it's deliberately distorted.
The roughly 13-second video shows only a portion of the game's playable cast: X, Zero, Alia, Axl, Ultimate Armor X, Vile, and Marino. A "?" portrait is shown too, which may be a randomizer or locked character. Two confirmed characters not shown here are Cinnamon and Command Mission X. I am unaware of what conditions must be met to unlock characters.
More news soon.

Rockman X Dive Gameplay – X Central Highway
When it rains, it pours. Here's some clean (but short) gameplay footage of Rockman X Dive. It features X throwing down on the classic Central Highway stage from X1. Spikys (X1) and Ball De Voux Shot Type (X7) are the primary enemies here.
Notice that X alternates between the X-Buster and Z-Saber. X's attacks are limited to a certain number of shots/swings before a brief cooldown period is engaged. There is an aim assist function shown here that, I can confirm, is not mandatory. You can turn this off with ease from the options menu.
If you'd like a more detailed analysis of this clip, hit up my buddy ShadowRockZX – he's got a great breakdown video on YouTube.
More Rockman X Dive news soon!

Rockman X Dive Will Have Exclusive Content and Optimization on ROG Phone II
Earlier today ASUS officially announced the ROG Phone II, a high-end gaming-centric smartphone that will apparently run Rockman X Dive on steroids. The phone will reportedly render the game at a full 120Hz and will take full advantage of the "ROG Kunai Gamepad" (the two detachable, Nintendo Switch-like controllers seen during the teaser trailer).
Additionally, ASUS also confirmed that Rockman X Dive will have exclusive content for ROG Phone II users. Players will have access to an exclusive weapon and a special wallpaper/background. Although no images of said exclusive wallpaper exist at this time, four new screenshots of the game were shown to the press. These images feature four playable characters: X, Zero, Alia and Marino. Note that Marino is fighting Moah the Giant (X3) on Central Highway (X1) and Alia is fighting CF-0 (X2) at Flame Mammoth's stage (X1). Note that Alia is equipped with the Z-Buster, meaning weapons are indeed interchangeable between different characters.
The ROG Phone II will go on sale later this September. Rockman X Dive's release date has not been disclosed. More details are coming soon. Stay tuned!

Brand-New Mega Man 11 Artwork Featured on T-Shirts (UPDATE)
UPDATE: It turns out Ishihara-san isn't the illustrator. Rather, it's the handiwork of artists Omar Alvero, Lv01KOKUEN, and BerryVerrine.
Here's a little something interesting that flew under our radar. A couple weeks ago at Anime Expo, four officially-licensed Mega Man 11 t-shirts were up for grabs, each featurin
Artwork on each shirt includes:
- Mega Man, Roll, Rush and Auto
- Mega Man undergoing repairs
- Mega Man striking a familiar pose against a collage of all eight Robot Master powers
- Mega Man's profile with internal schematics
At the time of this writing, these four shirts remain AX-exclusives and are unavailable from Eighty Sixty's website. However, according to Eighty Sixty's Twitter account, there will be an "announcement soon". We'll keep an ear to the ground for updates. For now, which of these do you want most?
Thanks to bomberedx2 for the pics!

REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Telos Translation Part 1: "Notes on Tracks"
Released back on December 10th, 2004, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Telos is the third album in Inti Creates' REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO series. Telos (from the Greek word "ΤΕΛΟΣ "or "Τέλος" meaning "end", "purpose", or "goal") features 37-tracks worth of remixed music from Rockman Zero 3.
Typically, the majority of Inti Creates' music CDs for the Rockman series and even the Gunvolt series go the extra mile in terms of supplemental content. You'll often find fun things like liner notes, character and development staff biographies, interviews, development insight and, sometimes, mini manga stories. However, the crown jewel of these albums are the "drama tracks" that further expand and enrich pre-established lore. Rockman Zero Telos is no exception.
Courtesy of our translator Sidier, we're proud to present for the very first time the entirety of Rockman Zero Telos' densely-packed booklet in English. Because of it's length, we'll be splitting its translated contents into separate posts. Today we begin with English-translated liner notes, or "Notes on Tracks" as Inti Creates calls them. Hit the jump below and see what composer Ippo Yamada had to say about various tracks!

Game Boy Mega Man III SAMPLE Version Dumped
Our library of pre-release and prototype Mega Man games continues to grow with the addition of a Game Boy Mega Man III "SAMPLE" version.
On the surface, there's nothing too ground breaking here. It's more or less a final, localized build of MMIII with the only noticeable difference being the words "SAMPLE" on the title screen. I'd wager this was originally passed around out trade shows, demo kiosks, or for review. Still, it's a part of Mega Man history and should be preserved.
You can download it and lots of other Mega Man pre-release/prototype/demo versions from the Rockman Corner Dropbox here. Many thanks to Skaarg for the donation!

Teppen: The Basic Cards (Mega Man X)
A couple of days ago we talked about X's story in Teppen. Today we're going to start looking at the actual Mega Man X series cards. After all, this is a trading card game and in this particular case the cards are the jewel of the crown (in terms of presentation, at least). At this time, the game has cards that you acquire when you beat each hero's story mode and completing events (missions, leveling up, etc.), plus cards from the Core Card Pack that you acquire using money (using real money or in-game currency).
Today we will cover Basic Cards from the Mega Man X series. After the break you'll find story information and clean artwork of each card (and the name of the artist that drew them).

New Mega Man: Fully Charged "Toy Play" Episode – "Heatwave"
DHX Media subsidiary WildBrain posted a brand-new Mega Man: Fully Charged "toy play" episode this week. Titled "Heatwave", this bite-sized, made-for-kids episode features Mega Man and Wave Man teaming up to cool down and revitalize a park. In tried and true fashion, though, Wave Man goes a little overboard.
If you'd like to see more of this "toy play" episodes, hit up the official Mega Man: Fully Charged YouTube channel here. There's more to come!

Lost Rockman EXE English Dub Found (It's Totally Different From NT Warrior)
Image via The Rockman EXE Zone |
A long-lost alternative English dub of the Rockman EXE anime has been recovered by our pal, MidniteW. Unlike VIZ Media's Mega Man NT Warrior dub, this rarely seen South-East Asia dub is far and away more faithful to its Japanese counterpart.
According to MidniteW, the SEA dub (recorded and distributed independently by Voiceovers Unlimited) is heavily based on the original Japanese script, going so far as to use the original Japanese names for characters (Rockman instead of Mega Man, Netto instead of Lan, for example). What's more, it even features the anime's original soundtrack that was replaced in NT Warrior! Pretty cool, right? Well it gets better. The SEA dub also includes whole episodes NT Warrior skipped over AND doesn't cut or censor a single thing (no "laser bread stick swords" here).
You can check out all these differences and more after the jump!
