"REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Mythos" Booklet Translation

Released back in 2010 to celebrate the launch of Rockman Zero Collection for Nintendo DS, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Mythos came packed with remixes from the series and a new track composed for the collection..

The album contained a hidden track (Cannon Ball - Mythos Ver.) and a vocal version of Rockman Zero 3 staff roll “Everlasting Red” sung by Toru Itoga. That's a name that may sound familiar to some of you; he sang for other CD releases from REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Idea (Clover) and ZXA Tunes (Mirai e Tsuzuku Kaze) to Rockman 10 Image Soundtrack (Last Exit and One And Only).

Toru Nakayama returned to illustrate the cover art, too. It was a striking, futuristic take on Zero's original design which inspired countless fan-arts over the years. There's even been a few custom figures and model kits too.

There's a lot to appreciate about Mythos. And now, eleven years later, we can read the booklet in English, translated by our friend Sidier. Read on for the goods!

"REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO: Idea" Booklet Translation

Released on May 28th, 2004, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO: Idea contains the remixed soundtrack of Rockman Zero 2. As opposed to previous (and future) releases, this album doesn't have ANY drama tracks. Instead, it comes with four "EX tracks": Mark of Justice - Resistance Anthem with chorus by Surugadai Club, L'oiseau du bonheur sung by Rie Tanaka (Ciel's voice actress) with French lyrics, Red Time, an unused track that was planned for the VS Mode and Clover sung by Toru Itoga.

REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO: Physis Booklet Translation

Released on September 30th, 2005, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Physis is the final remixed soundtrack Inti Creates published that focused solely on one game. Case in point, Rockman Zero 4.

This soundtrack was initially released with a calendar and a booklet called "Vile's Incident: Eden dome, its sin and rebirth", a small booklet with a recap of the events from Mega Man Zero 3 and 4 and a small epilogue set two years after the conclusion of the series. This booklet has been translated already and is available here. However, we will focus on the previously untranslated soundtrack booklet. It contains liner notes, musicians profiles and a small paragraph explaining the meaning of the titular word "Physis".

You can find the full translation (courtesy of Sidier) after the break!

REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Telos Translation Part 1: "Notes on Tracks"

Released back on December 10th, 2004, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Telos is the third album in Inti Creates' REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO series. Telos (from the Greek word "ΤΕΛΟΣ "or "Τέλος"  meaning "end", "purpose", or "goal") features 37-tracks worth of remixed music from Rockman Zero 3.

Typically, the majority of Inti Creates' music CDs for the Rockman series and even the Gunvolt series go the extra mile in terms of supplemental content. You'll often find fun things like liner notes, character and development staff  biographies, interviews, development insight and, sometimes, mini manga stories. However, the crown jewel of these albums are the "drama tracks" that further expand and enrich pre-established lore. Rockman Zero Telos is no exception.

Courtesy of our translator Sidier, we're proud to present for the very first time the entirety of Rockman Zero Telos' densely-packed booklet in English. Because of it's length, we'll be splitting its translated contents into separate posts. Today we begin with English-translated liner notes, or "Notes on Tracks" as Inti Creates calls them. Hit the jump below and see what composer Ippo Yamada had to say about various tracks!
