Akuma, the "Master of the Fist", Joins Rockman X DiVE

To no one's surprise, Akuma -- the boss from the Fist of the Raging Demon event -- will become the third playable Street Fighter character this week. His stats and skills certainly pack quite a punch too.

You can find his trailer and relevant info after the break!

Akuma's first active skills is Sekia Kuretsuha. The attack strikes the ground creating a pillar of flames. It can cause weakened damage that can be stacked up to 5 times.

His second active skill is Shun Goku Satsu. Akuma's trademark attack will teleport him to the enemy's location to deal massive damage. One of his passive skills will allow him to remove the target's invulnerability when hit.

In addition to Akuma, this week also brings us Reaper Sigma. He will be available as the second Guild boss with the main rewards for the event being Absolute Zero and Twin Fangs memories.

And that's all for the second Rockman X DiVE collaboration with another Capcom IP. What's next? Resident Evil, Sengoku Basara... Who knows! Let's us know what you'd like to see next year (if they continue Capcom IP collabs, that is).

  1. May as well just call it Capcom Dive at this point. Featuring X and friends.

    1. That's a grand total of 3 non-MM characters (since even for the first crossover, they used MH-themed variations of Xdive's characters). Which is hardly a tremendous amount. Especially since collabs are a basic aspect of this type of mobile games (even Mega Man appeared on a few) There definitely will be more crossovers in the future, but it's exaggerated to call it that now.

    2. Out of nowhere, here comes Sonic the Hedgehog! Then you'd just call it Dive.

  2. Using Cyber Akuma could have made this whole concept much more acceptable. Dashing and using a buster would fit him better.

  3. Cyber Akuma (Mech Gouki) would have been a better option IMO. I never liked his SFV appearance with that lion-like hair. But I guess they are trying to promote more of SFV anyway, so whatever.

  4. Guess they ran out of waifus and have to resort to Street Fighter now.

    2. They still have: Rafflesian, Berkana, Ashe, Neige, Atlas, Queen Ophiucha, Splash Woman, Plum, Roll.EXE, Iris.EXE, Meddy.EXE, Queen Virgo...

And even then with SF, I kinda expect characters like Menat, Poison, and Sakura to join the fun eventually.

  5. How do you get access to these? Totally different from my available “things”
