An update for all versions of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection has corrected an issue in Mega Man Battle Network 5 and Mega Man Battle Network 6 that caused certain Battle Chips to be lost under specific circumstances.
In Battle Network 5, the affected chips were AntiDmg *, NrthWind *, GrabRvng F, and VDoll T. In Battle Network 6, the impacted chips included DublShot C, Hiboomer V, GrabRvng I, and BigBomb O.
Alongside the fix, a new feature has been added that allows players to reclaim the affected chips. They can now be obtained through each game’s Special Cards section, accessible via the Patch Cards & Download Chips menu in the Gallery.
Each card can only be claimed once per version. Even players who did not encounter the issue are free to redeem them.
