In case you haven't heard, a number of major changes are coming to Capcom Unity on May 6th. You can read more about that here. Long story short, 14-years worth of user created content, forum posts, blog posts, private messages, etc. will disappear. That includes everything from the Mega Man Legends 3 Devroom, too.
If you have anything, anything at all that you'd like to preserve from Capcom Unity, now is the time. You'll have to manually backup your forum posts, conversations and PMs. Your blog posts, however, can be downloaded. Simply click on your profile, click on the blog tab and then click on the "DOWNLOAD" button at the top right. This is a newly-added function courtesy of the Capcom Unity staff.
In terms of Devroom content, a few colleagues and I have most of the media backed up (Images, videos, etc). However, there's still work to be done in terms of backing up and cataloging Devroom blog posts written by then-MML3 staff members. If you'd like to help out on that front, shoot me an e-mail.
And with that, I bid Capcom Unity a hearty farewell! I loved that place.
Geez. We won't get the game, and now they will remove its tombstone/memorial? :PReplyDelete
Joking aside, it's sad that so much content will be lost. At least the main pages from MML3 Devroom are safe in The Wayback Machine, but I'm not sure about the forum pages, are there are tons of them that would need to be checked.
Anybody else find this download function? I've been searching for the past 5-10 mins and coming up notta. I mean, I could be blind as a bat too so...ReplyDelete

I think it could be on switch and 3DSReplyDelete
Can someone backup all these:ReplyDelete
With HTTrack Web Copier? Unfortunately I don't have enough space.
Why can't CAPCOM just archived them?
I have good news everyone. I'm a user from Wiki Fandom and I managed to collect many pictures and info of the Devroom entries I like since November of 2013. Knowing that one day Capcom will delete the Devroom will come I put my ultimate plan into action. Though the articles are finally made am still doing some quality of life updates to my articles I made on the Megaman Wiki Fandom site.ReplyDelete
If your a user of Wiki Fandom especially if you have any Devroom entries picture, text, and etc. you want to add to the articles please feel free to contribute to the links here:
Bonne Mecha Enteries:
Bright Bats Mascot Entries:
Easter Egg Entries:
Promotional Ideas Entries:
Also can anyone spread the word of my hard work on preserving the Devroom entries on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites, especially the Japanese side. If any of you guys know anyone in Japan can you please encourage the people who made Rockman DASH 3 Devroom entries to email pictures and info of their Bonne Mechas, Townspeople, Reaverbots, Town Easter Eggs, and Bright Bats Mascots entries. That way I finally have a complete Devroom entries article I made on Mega Man Wiki Fandom.
